Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour 2012 - next leg Brighton I believe so deanimus, as long as there are still seats available after the online sats. Suggest giving the GCas Brighton a call directly to be sure though and turning up early on the day in case they operate an alternates list.

Issue 82 does not have a page 85 and as for caravanning well i had come to expect better of you Bart Was always under the impression this was a friendly helpful forum and because of this it is the only forum i post on. Thank you gentlemen enjoy your game tonight

With the greatest of respect Mark (hope I got your name right, because I like to go to the trouble of trying to learn them all), you'll find that I'm constantly going out of my way helping people. Afterall I bumped this thread tonight for you didn't I? I didn't have to do that and it's actually in my own interest to not advertise these things any further as it lessens my own chance of getting a seat. As you should however know by now, I am far from being selfish and always share things around the forum because this forum is like a family to me. I also bumped it in support of PokerPlayer Mag & GCasino who have as previously stated given PL and it's members a great deal of support and added value in the past and deserve a little support back in the process and to help them in providing us with future value. I apologise for the weak attempt at ironic humour but it has to be said that members have to also learn to help themselves, eg. don't keep leaving things to the last minute, set yourselves up with a poker diary or make good use of the resources that mods such as avongirl provide them using up their own free time, plan ahead etc I along with many others have always and are always willing to help fellow members wherever possible, but it should work both ways in that others should also help out and not least look to help themselves. I hold no grudge, have always considered you as a friend Mark and will continue to do so, but please don't make assumptions on or rely on my good nature as one day it might dry up. With best regards and hope to see you later on during the week in the PL exclusives, Bart

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour 2012 - next leg Brighton Sorry if i offended you Bart. You have always been a helpful soul. I misread the two replies as being a micky take and should have known better. Regarding the poker diary probally a good idea but really i am only a recreational player and dont take it too seriously. I drift in and out of playing and dont take much notice of whats going on, this is apparent as the last issue of WPT delivered to me was 82. i only took the subscription out about 6 months ago, never noticed it was'nt being delivered as I never read it. Anyway its good to know you don't bear a grudge and I hope you will have a beer with me in Brighton Be lucky Mark

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour 2012 - next leg Brighton No worries Mark, Sorry for sounding off, it wasn't really aimed at just you either but people in general tbh, you were just the unfortunate straw that broke the Bart's back after a long difficult day ;) We cannot give out the passwords here in the forum as you know and unfortunately I didn't see your reply needing further guidance as was preparing my dinner. I could've worded my original post much better though especially as it was close to reg close time. Apologies. Definately buy you a beer in Brighton, looking forward to meeting up with you and everyone else :cheers, Bart

Re: PokerPlayer Magazine Tour 2012 - next leg Brighton Yes managed to take the whole thing down, seat+expenses, also picked up a Reading regular tourney package elsewhere too. Think my dry-spell is finally officially over. 3 PL'ers made the final table, sadly only 1 of us made the seat though. Poker can be so harsh at times. Think from what Teaulc was saying tonight, you have to pay in person at GCasino Brighton, don't think you can pay over phone or online, but definately worth a quick call mate. I might have mis-heard or mis-understood. And think GCasino were planning some generic satellites into the PPUKPT, so keep an eye on the lobby if you or indeed anyone hasn't got their seat yet. You have any luck in town Sonic?

Looks like from the mag you can call up and 'reserve; a seat if they haven't sold out or reg on the client but nothing is there yet, might mail support Came 6th in the Fox Poker Club Main Event, for £2.2k Lost 2 massive flips on ft, was 2nd in chips at start of ft (9 handed) Aw well, #ontothenext

That's still a great result against a quality field Sonic, very well played :clap In terms of the PP in Brighton, obviously haven't heard about the expenses side of things yet, will need to give them a few days to sort out. I am however keen that both PokerPlayer and Grosvenor receive max benefit/return from it. So as well as covering travel/hotel to Brighton and possibly allowing me to attend the Coventry leg too, it might just be possible to provide a small staking in those just missing out on this occasion. Only if allowed and if it helps them to be able to attend Brighton to support both brands of course. Will see in due course.
