statsonthegame
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Prediction : QPR win 19/20 @ Blue Square Wolves have been awful recently, gaining 4 points from their last 8 games, although this has been the fourth hardest run of fixtures in the league (including games v Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea). They're confidence is low and I expect the 3-0 home stuffing they got off Liverpool confirms that they haven't enough quality to maintain consistently good results through a PL season. QPR results since Mark Hughes took over have been promising. A recent home win over Wigan and a draw away to Aston Villa shows that there is a bit of confidence coming back and that they might push themselves away from relegation. Wolves are probably the second worst team in the league and I expect QPR to continue their recent up turn in form by repeating the same type of result they got two weeks earlier v Wigan. BookiesNo1Enemy
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb With the new investment and positivity around at QPR I feel they have the beating of what is often a very leaky Wolves side. Im not sure if Bobby Zamora will be avaliable for his debut but would have thought so given that he got a few games under his belt before leaving Fulham. Cisse made an instant impact when they came to us yesterday but apart from their goals we really should have beaten them. I dont think that QPR are anywhere near a complete side yet but from what I have seen from Wolves this season,QPR should have too much for them. 11-10 seems a resonable price for a team at home showing a bit more confidence and optimism against a side and manager which feel that the world is against them. It seems a match in which early goals could be key, an early one for Wolves could get the natives restless but go 1 down and then the world will seem against them even more. My early bet would be 10pts on QPR @ 11-10 (general)
statsonthegame
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Wolves got beat 3-0 at home by QPR earlier on in the season, then went on to get 1 point in their next 5 games. There are a few teams round the bottom who have started to string a few results together, Wolves and Wigan just can't turn it around though. I tend to go with a team that has momentum rather than one that has just taken a beating. I might go back and look at whether historically at whether large defeats (by more than 2 at home and more than 3 away) lead bottom half teams to a reactionairy performance. It would be interesting to see the results.

bowles10
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Taraabt, Traore and Zamora will all be available at the weekend. Taraabt only paid 33 mins at the ACN and Traore didnt play so its a pity they even went Cisse and Zamora could be a handful and service will improve now with those other 2 back from the ACN its a sell out also at Loftus road and should be a great atmosphere, i think anything around evs is decent price at this stage
Simao BVB
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Wolves got 4 draws in their last 4 away games. Even manage to draw against Tottenham and Arsenal. The other two are against high flying Birmingham team in FA cup and against Bolton in Premiership. With only 2 wins for QPR at home this season i don't see any value in QPR at this odds. They were actually pretty lucky vs Aston Villa and 2-2 result does not reflect their performance. Yes QPR got some new signings, players back from Africa, but this price is not enough for me. Good luck

blackcrow
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Over 2.5 @ 1.94 pinnacle QPR have picked up two decent strikers in Cisse and Zamora, so like them to continue to score goals, as they have done so in 5 of their last 7 games, and especially with Wolves having conceded in their last 20 matches, including at least two goals in 6 of their last 9 matches. However, they have also managed to score, hitting the back of the net in 9 of their last 10 games, and with QPR conceding in their last 14 EPL games, then can see both teams scoring, and with both sides needing a win, doubt that they will be happy with a point each. Willie
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Contrary to some beliefs here I will take 2.1 for a QPR win. Wolves weren't great against Liverpool and they weren't "unlucky" to lose that game. Cisse and Zamora should make a dangerous attacking pair against a leaky Wolves defense. I think that there is a lot more positive things going on at QPR than Wolves and Hughes will get his team pumped up for this one. QPR has more quality and momentum at the moment and if they get all the pieces together it should be a comfortable home win.

KavkaZ
Re: QPR v Wolves > Sat 4th Feb Despite the fact that teams are not far apart in the standings, I can asure you that the hosts will win today. QPR now significantly strengthened and their 16th in the standings should not confuse anyone. Already in the match against Aston Villa it was clear that the QPR even lead 2-0, but it played a cruel joke with them - have almost believed in his victory, and in England, and can not relax until the final whistle . I think that they have learned from that meeting, and more of this does not help. So, on acquisitions.. QPR increased quality by such guys as Zamora and Cisse, the latter has already managed to score a goal against Aston Villa. I think that with such an attack should the QPR in the next few games to ensure a comfortable lead over the relegation zone. As for the "wolves" that the team essentially nothing has changed. The last victory they have won as many as 4th December last year, while at home they beat Sunderland. After that, five defeats and four draws, three defeats on the current year. No special acquisitions team, except that from Spurs have loan a defender Bassong. In general, I think that in this game hosts have an excellent chance of winning, and most likely, they will take advantage of these chances.
