Re: England > Midweek > Championship > 16,17 August

Guess I'll start paying even closer attention. Just before the games I put a fiver each on all four dogs to win and draw, and am going to have beer money for the week. To add to the list above: Brighton +360 W Peterborough +422 D (+299) Bristol City +714 W Derby +451 W If anybody has information on HW-D-AW for the Championship in the past season or seasons, I'd appreciate knowing about it.
Well done mate :clap As you can imagine, i'm gutted go against all the odds on home wins and only breakeven.

Re: England > Midweek > Championship > 16,17 August I see I've messed up my data already, because I missed the first week of games. Duh. So far, week 2 and week 3: away dogs of +0.5: 6-1-3 (@ around 4.00 straight up) away dogs of +1: 2-0-0 (@ between 5.00 and 7.00) I just looked at the first three weeks of 2010, as I have the opening odds for those games: away dogs of +0.5: 4-7-9 away dogs of +1: 1-0-1 So, for the first three weeks of 2010, playing the away dogs to win outright was about a break-even proposition, but playing them all to draw finished a bit ahead. So this is a far more unsettled season early on, though as I said I'm missing the opening week's odds. Definitely food for thought.

Hi mate, do you think there might be some value in the corners markets if you expect Derby to park the bus?? Corner stats so far: Derby 4 - 6 Birmingham Watford 12 - 4 Derby Blackpool 10 - 6 Peterboro Hull 4 - 6 Blackpool In the Blackpool - Peterboro game, Blackpool scored in the 44th and 48th min, and so I expect that Peterboro racked up most of their corners in the 2nd half chasing the game. I'm not a great fan of corner handicaps, as goals have a major impact on the flow of games. However Hills go 1.7 on Blackpool to have most 1st half corners. :unsure
Corner count was 1-0 at HT, and 6-1 at FT. Didn't get involved :\

Re: England > Midweek > Championship > 16,17 August Peterboro will cause a lot of championship sides problems with the formation they play and their ability to score goals. Their goalkeeper is top notch and pulled off at least four great saves and in the end that was the main difference between the two sides. Millwall's keeper (David Forde) is a liability and should never have been beaten from that distance for the equalizer. overall though a good game with both teams playing attacking football!

I'm collating all the data for a betting script i'm writing. Whether i'll have time keep it up over the season i don't know as i'm hoping do it for all the leagues i bet on across europe including game stats like possession, shots on target etc.. plus head records and relevent previous form. Set myself abit of a task but my intentions are good anyway

Re: England > Midweek > Championship > 16,17 August

there you go mate, i'm organised this season :)
That you are. Thanks. By my reckoning, that's six away dogs of 4.00+, and they went 1-4-1. That makes these teams 9-5-4 on the season through three weeks. Ordinarily I'd start jumping on them and lose as a correction is coming. :) But I think I'll sit back and see what happens this weekend, start betting them after the correction for a change. There are six or seven games in that category for week 4.

I've just posted in the prem thread about what i feel to be a lack of value on Liverpool especially when compared to others over a season. Wigan DNB away at swansea @ 2.50 is a superb bet imo. But also on first sight,in this weeks championship i like the look of Watford away at covernty Ipswich away at peterboro both on the dnb
