Bruise Pristene
...hi could someone explain to me why Phil Taylor won a world darts title the other day, but on the BBC at the mo there is the world championships live! Matt
Re: an idiot asks...(Darts) PDC - Professional darts council BDO - British Darts Organisation. bout 10 years a group of players broke off from the BDO and formed the PDC, they got pissed off with the BDO tieing up crappy sponsorship deals and refusing to move to sky so did it themselves. PDC has far more money in it and is generally off a higher standard imo. If you want a player to play exhibition at your pub you are looking at 1-1.5k for a PDC player, whereas 500 notes will get you a BDO guy. Taylor obviously we are talking 5k ;)

davidcampbell
Re: an idiot asks...(Darts) there was a challenge match a few weeks backk .. taylor against fordham, taylor beat him after fordham had to retire due to about to collapse under the strain/lights etc. also i believe taylor beat barney a few years back in the same challenge event. not sure if its 'official' as such but certainly most consider taylor to be the 'best in the world' given his wins in the challenge games. (as far as i know anyway, which, same as dub cee - aint much!)
