  1. Re: Cricket : Champions League Twenty20 2011 They were all absolutely shitfaced the night before.:rollin Som of the pics I've seen are unreal, its not even a serious competition, we have won our trophy admid this pathetic season. No point us winning it anyway, the money doesnt actually filter to Leicestershire unless we agree to a sponsorship deal with an Indian company and we wont do that.
  2. Re: Cricket: England vs India Test Series Why on earth is anybody still backing India in a postive manner? :unsure You been watching this series? :lol They are absolutely awful, its one, maybe two half overs then 4/5 overs of absolute dross. It should be a great pitch to bat on tomorrow, I'd be astounded if India got near taking 20 wickets in this test match. :eek
  3. Re: Cricket: England vs India Test Series No bets for me but been looking forward to this all summer, think it will be extremely tight and one test match could even decide it, I dont think we will lose the series as similar to Oz I dont see India being able to take 20 wickets off us in a fairly short space of time, could come down to how we bowl at them, plenty of cloud cover would be nice. If Zaheer is out I will back us to win the series, that would put India's seam attack about on a par with Sri Lanka's.:unsure
  4. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Dont think the fight took place. I certainly didnt see it and I think it would of been towards the end.
  5. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Tomorrow. This is the best bet I have seen for ages. Sam Sexton to beat Hastings Rasani by stoppage 4/7. boylesports. This really doesnt need explaining at all, nice easy one for Sam to get back into it agasint the Zimbabwe number 3 :unsure. Rasani has lost his last 10 odd fights, been knocked out by Danny McIntosh at cruiserweight in the 3rd and was stopped in his 1st round last time. Even Kenny Anderson stopped him at light-heavyweight, no idea what he is doing in the ring here. Steps in with Sam now for a 6 rounder, I'd have taken 4/7 had this been 3 rounder let alone 6.
  6. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Decided I'm not going to be on Groves/De Gale - my head says De Gale but I wont be able to enjoy the event if I have backed him. Backing rounds 1-4 for Rabchenko tonight V Price, should get the job done fairly early.
  7. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Just been reading sounds good???!
  8. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Was hoping for bigger than that :(
  9. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Going to this and I'll make a post tomorrow, just thiinking a few moe things through. Anywhere know anyone offering prices for Rabchenka V Pryce on friday?!!!!! Seriously need to find somewhere as I'm one of the few people who has seen Rabchenka fight.
  10. Re: Eurovision Well that was good :rollin
  11. Re: Eurovision Yeah, weirdos and gays mainly.
  12. Re: Eurovision Like I said in the other GC thread, this is what happens when everyone learns to use the internet.
  13. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread Good call but never looked like stopping Margarito? :eek The fight should of been stopped almost every second of the last 3/4 rounds. Getting in early with this one..... Wladimir Klitchko to beat David Haye via TKO, KO or DQ 11/8 sporting bet. Really don’t get where all the Haye optimism comes from, he laboured to a (controversial) split decision over Valuev by picking counter shots, if he needs to move and counter to avoid the punch power of Valuev then how on earth is he going ...to get through the jab of Wlad who is ten times faster than Val and hits 20 times harder? Haye has been put on his backside by Barrett and Mormeck so if Wlad lands anything half decent on him he is going to go. They all say they have a plan to beat Dr S and whenever they feel the first cross they spend the rest of the fight going backwards and any plan they had flies out the window. The British fans always get like this when a big fight comes up, starting to remind me of the time the whole country thought Hatton was going to beat Mayweather and Pacquiao. Odds-against for what is clearly a an odds on shot.
  14. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread yep, shame but the reflexes and sharpness just isnt there.... Dilks tournament for the taking this. edit: my kiss of death on Dilks :lol
  15. Re: 2011 Boxing Thread On Reid as well tonight, no idea what shape he is but it just has to be worth a punt with what he is up agaisnt. 4/1 I can get, it will be massive if he is in decent shape.
  16. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Super stuff foo :clap:clap Shows we have some superb punters here. GH - would be a shame to see you go. Really would. Hope you re-consider......
  17. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread well what can you say.....thats why you dont go to Germany, appalling, sickening stuff. Dont ask me why but small feeling for B-Hop tonight, just seems set for him, will see, can watch it just aftre the Aussies have bowled us out :(
  18. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Lebedev has won with ease on my card..............hope we dont get a shocker.
  19. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Less said about my double the better, less said about Edwards celebration even more..............an embarassment to the game. Anyone giving B-Hop a chance? Almost reminding me of the Pavlik fight...........think he is looking a big price...... :unsure
  20. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread What a great weekend of action that was, not much luck at all for me and very disappointed as I thought the Ovil Mackenzie stoppage was extremely premature, still think he would have beaten Bellow had it gone the distance at a very good price. Thought Cleverly looked totally diff from Murat fight, Brook needs to fight Mike Jones or step up to something remotely challenging, Macklin shouldn’t go near Pirog or Lemieux and De Gale looks like he will be far more impressive than I thought he would be, took some balls to go into Smiggers home and fight putting that performance on. Khan did fantastic, be happy it wasn’t Dave Parris reffing it over here though or that was being called to a halt in the tenth, think Khan should avoid Maidana again though, dangerous as anything as Argentinians have seemed to do well in recent re-matches Still haven’t been able to see any of the bantamweight tournament, was surprised Agbeko won, tried youtube and keeps giving me a blank, anyone send a link I’d be grateful. Tonight….no great surprise. Bayaar/Lindsey double 25pts 1.82 – boylesports. Thought Bayaar looked excellent last time out against Ashley Sexton, called a draw but another man totally robbed by Dave Parris’s ineptitude on a Friday evening. Bayaar won the fight by 3 or 4 rounds but had to suffer the indignity of one card reading 4 rounds against him, Sexton appears a classier fighter than Paul Edwards, looking at his record I have seen him box against Andy Bell but being honest I cant even remember it, the record is very padded and full of guys who turn up to collect their money, cant envisage him winning here, everything against him, class, experience, ability…….wouldn’t rule out Shinny stopping him. Don’t really need to explain much regarding Lindsey, could be a very very good fighter and hopefully going to go on to fight for world honours at some point, was brilliant against Arthur and has looked dominant over pretty much everybody I’ve seen him face so far. Simpson has had some very decent scraps but has lost to fighters on an ability level below Lindsey, also you feel he has to get KO to win this one, just cannot see it happening, fully expect to collect comfortably on the double.
  21. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Have to be quick unfortunately, apologies. No stakes as its small for me at the minute but some thoughts........ Maidana is value, can bang, crude, Khan's chin might be tested tonight and if he does land I can see Con doing his chicken dance again, anything near 3/1 has to be taken... I think Ovil McKenize is a cracking price to beat Bellow, Bellow was pretty poor last time out and a repeat of that sees him beat here, these two absolutely fcuking hate each other as well, was at ringside for Booth V Marsh and Ovil won a fight on the undercard and Bellow was with 2 of his mates in front of me and they making cut throat gestures at him and calling him all sorts, Ovill wanted to go at home there and then, could be a cracker. Shinfield has been bigging up Ovil bigtime for this one and he doesnt usually do that. De Gale - still think he is going to face an unexpected defeat at some point, might not be tonight but a good scrap this, certainly wont be short and I hope Smith can take him into the trences so we can learn a bit more about De Gale.
  22. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread Brilliant, so brilliant. Never been so happy to lose a bet! Best british performance ive seen for years
  23. Re: 2010 Boxing Thread I hope my bet loses, COME ON CARL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cobra do us proud!!!
  24. Re: Cricket: The Ashes 2010/11 Cannot wait. :dude Just the one bet for me so far a that is England to win the ashes, took a price a couple of months ago that is long gone now. I actually think we are better than them in every single department, bowling and fielding wise we are far superior and for the first time since I was born we go down under with a spinner than is better than theirs. I fancy 3-1 England and I will be getting involved throughout the series, it's going to be a great one. Can anyone ever remember us lot brimming with so much confidence before an ashes series away from home?
