The Punters Lounge Fantasy Football League is once again led by @Team Saggaas he's just about stayed in front ahead of Fred Hart's Cucina Maestros and @Wanderlust's To Haaland Back. Double figure scores from Erling Haaland, Gabriel Martinelli, and Joao Cancelo helped last season's league winner to keep top spot but the pressure is certainly being cranked up by those behind him!
Congratulations to Jon Bramall and his FC Bucket Hat team who earned an impressive 96 points this week! His decision to include Haaland, Martinelli, Cancelo, plus the likes of Harry Kane, Phil Foden, and Bukayo Saka paid off! The likes of Brendan Booth's action plus united and Liam Smith's Rogue Team with 92 points and 91 points respectively will feel hard done by to come so near to earning Manager of the Week.
It's also been a competitive week on the shame front! We have a first ever three way tie for the worst score of the week with the dishonour of worst total for the week being shared by @Soi Bongkot's Whelan Wonders, @Jediknight's The Little Islanders, and @ivan356's FK Metalac GM. You should all go away and have a serious chat with yourselves after getting just 29 points this week!

I might have misheard this, though I reckon I heard on the Asian Tour on Freesports that Joohyung Kim gave himself an English nickname so that people could remember him easier and that he chose Tom based on the fact he liked watching Thomas the Tank Engine as a child lol.

Great going Robbo, personally I hope Cantlay wins but it's a great position to be in, was similar a couple of weeks ago with Migliozzi and Hojgaard in a similar position and also before I had two players play a playoff which was quite good (can't remember names).
Hopefully both will have a strong finish, although for myself I hope it's Cantlay who has the better finish.
I'm not so clued up on the Asian players tbh so seldom goto them, seems he's a good up and coming young player, didn't even know he went by the name Tom, lol.

Fingers crossed for @Johnrobertson and @fd1972uk the leaderboard continues this way all the way to the finish line with Cantlay, Tom Kim leading the way.

This has always been one of my favourite tournaments

Not really strayed away from home countries outwith a couple of SA.
