Taking a look at this today but based on his form at the WGC Matchplay, I have to put up Corey Conners. Looked in fine nick and was very unlucky to lose that match with Burns who then went and won the event to show that form.
Equally how is Hatton a favourite here with that Matchplay form

Dylan Frittelli 160/1 bet365 ew 10 places 1/7 odds - This price looks big considering he was 100/1 last year, in 3 attempts at the course he has always made the cut and came 8th last year. Recent form includes a couple of top 30s. 

Fascinating.  I think that if I were @JohnrobertsonI would sit tight and not play tomorrow at least.  We all know that @Alastaircan successfully pick a 3/1 + priced winner when need be but this of course carries an increased risk of not being successful. The most winners is indeed a great part of the comp IMO

@Johnrobertsonpicks the short priced winner to get past the £10 mark but may still need to play with @Alastairhaving a mathematical chance of catching him. Some of the others could still win if the top 2 make a mess of it !

I don't want to rush this as it is a big change so I will leave the rules as they are for the April competition.
We can then consider all the options and perhaps, as was suggested, have a vote to decide which one we go with.
 
 

I think that might have been based on a misunderstanding of what was being proposed, I’m not sure anyone was suggesting not allowing posting the night before prior to that post. I think there are 3 options on the table in most people’s thoughts.
Move to SP only (post when you like) Just scrap bog, otherwise as you are (early prices can still be taken) Retain bog but only for prices taken from a certain time on the day of racing I favour 2 with 1 the clear next best. Option 3 just complicates things for the guy running the competition, having to differentiate between selections that do and don’t qualify for bog.

Your right, its not very clear, kind of hidden away but no surprise.

In the outrights the value once again looks like being away from the top of the market. Scheffler looks very strong and is a deserved favourite, but some of the prices further back look wrong to me and so that's where I'll be backing a few players on the exchanges.

I believe that @gbettle's method was as follows:
The system is:

from all UK & Eire races, find the favourites;
compare them with the RP Naps table, found here
take any favourite that has either 0 or 1 tip from the RP Naps Table - we now have a set of candidates for my daily trixie
filter that set of candidates by 0 or 1 tip only, and then take the lowest 3. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Did you see the short price one I tipped Telhimlisten race ? Looked like the jockey jumped off when well clear after the last, never seen anything like it. ?

Looks like you are still in with a good chance as all your main challengers lost today.  The only bummer is that you dropped a point.  
It is quite easy to select horses that are at very short odds and have an excellent chance of winning ?.  All you have to do is check through the races with short-priced favourites and make a note of all the horses that are at least 10 points clear of all other rivals in the RPR ratings.  Obviously, one would exclude any race with some un-raced so-called wonder horse that is supposed to win by a country mile.  I checked today and found that in the 2.15 Sed Forcing Bull 1/3 was rated 125 v 99 RPR won by 12 lengths and in the 4.45 Lud Tightenrourbelts 30/100 126 v 112 RPR won by 18 lengths.
Further, @gbettle had a formula that he published here for short-priced horses in accumulators which seemed to work quite well.  I'll try and find it for you if you are interested. 
I hope that @gbettleis OK as I haven't seen him make any posts for a while.

Just to confirm I don't have a short price system. In the real world I don't back horses at prices shorter than 6/4 .
