Here is my bet builder for tonight's game. Low risk. Premier League isn't my forte when it comes to the betting so I usually restrict myself to smaller £1 bets over the whole season. I've also backed Bet365's super boost of over 0.5 goals in the first half at Evens.

    CHAMPIONSHIP
Coventry let me down last week but hopefully they can redeem themselves against what should be one of the weaker teams. 8/11 with Bet365 and their 2 goals ahead early payout, A a few quid on Simms hattrick for fun around 75/1 on exchange.
    2pts win Coventry 8/11
    P/L: -0.55pts
Coventry dominated but somehow needed a 95th min goal to get the win, phew 😋

I've gone for 2 x doubles this weekend.
BURNLEY v Cardiff - Burnley started the season well with a 4-1 win away at Luton. They should be a force once again in the Championship. Cardiff suffered a defeat at home to Sunderland, and won't be wanting to play Burnley as they could find themselves near the bottom of a very early table.
SHEFFIELD UNITED v QPR - put last seasons problems behind them with a solid 2-0 win away at Preston ( who were fairly solid at home last season). They made a full 11 changes for the midweek cup game but still came out comfortable winners, and hopefully will continue the winning streak. QPR were beaten at home to West Brom on the opening day, and just like Cardiff, may not want to be facing a team relegated from the Premier League.
The double pays a best 1.7/1 ( just short of 7/4) with Hills.
    --------------------
ARSENAL v Wolves - I'm taking Arsenal to get off to a flyer against Wolves, if they want to be champions they need to start the season off running.
NEWCASTLE v Southampton - Newcastle are progressing nicely under Eddie Howe, although many in the media expect it to falter. Not me ( I live with a Geordie), as I think that they can at least consolidate their 7th place finish last season. Southampton having just returned to the top flight via the play offs won't be looking forward to the longest journey they will make on the opening day of the season, and could be in for a busy afternoon.
The double pays a best 0.67/1 ( 4/6) again with Hills.
It is very early days in the season, but hopefully we can chip away and make some small gains.

I had hoped to get a full 1-20 Premier League predictions post done similar to my Championship one but the Punters Lounge work load is calling so I'll have to keep it brief, unfortunately! Here is my final 1-20 predictions for this season:

I would argue this is the toughest Premier League campaign to call in a while. Manchester City appear weaker compared to previous seasons. Is Pep losing the enthusiasm for the role there? Arsenal continue to get stronger and it feels like they are due a title win given their current progression. The top six are in complete disarray. Manchester United and Tottenham are probably the most stable candidates and that's saying a lot! Liverpool are about to undergo a huge transition period post-Klopp and that rarely ends well for clubs. Chelsea are still a mess. They've really dropped the ball by letting Mauricio Pochettino go. The jury remains out on Enzo Maresca and their squad is a car crash.
Further down, you have to still question if the squads of Aston Villa and Newcastle have enough depth to them. There is no denying that Ollie Watkins and Alexander Isak give both teams what they need to qualify for Europe. A proven potential 20-goal-a-season striker. It's the rest of the squad that concerns me though. When the injuries and suspensions inevitably kick in then does either team have the depth in quality to keep their form going? At least Newcastle don't have the distraction of European competition this year but then they do have the shadow of FFP and Eddie Howe still with his flaws as a head coach.
The mid-table area is a bit of a melee. It really is Russian roulette with all the managerial and player changes going on in there. Crystal Palace would've been the sure-fire bet for at least 9th place under Oliver Glasner but the sale of Michael Olise is a massive loss. There's still the possibility Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton could leave sometime this season. I feel the new manager bounce for West Ham with Julen Lopetegui will help them and not having European football for the first time in a couple of seasons will be a weight off their shoulders.
Sadly, I do think the three teams that have come up will go back down. Such is the gap in finances and resources between the Premier League and the Championship. I was looking forward to seeing how Ipswich do under Kieran McKenna but their recent transfer activity of signing Kalvin Phillips and Sammie Szmodics has made me wonder if they're beginning to panic a little bit. Leicester are screwed with FFP and little room for manoeuvre to strengthen their squad. As much as I dislike Russell Martin, I think Southampton possibly stand the best chance of staying up but I couldn't bring myself to put them higher than 19th.  It'll be interesting to see if the likes of Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Fulham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford, or Everton get sucked into the relegation battle this season. All of them are vulnerable if they don't start well.

Yeah, I'm on board with that @Fader. I've out Bruno Fernandes in my fantasy team for the opening weekend of action. I can certainly see him getting a dodgy pen by falling over his own face at some point. I agree with your view on Fulham too. I think they've lost a couple of key players in Palhinha and Tosin Adarabioyo from last season. Both positions are very tricky to replace at this level too. I'm not sure they'll go down but I can't see them out-performing last season or winning matches like this.

I think Man United will win tomorrow. I was thinking maybe Fernandes to score or assist and Man United to win. I think Mainoo should have a good season and I think without Paulinha, Fulham might struggle this season.
