Been off betting for a while due to restrictions that are being made here in Portugal regarding betting (licensing processes are currently undergoing here), but would like to express my point of view regarding my team's Sporting Portugal match against CSKA Moscow. Sporting Portugal has a big addition for this season: Jorge Jesus. Yes, that manager. After 6 years in big rivals SL Benfica, where he won 3 championships, 4 league cups, 1 Portugal Cup, 1 Supercup and 2 EL finals, a shock move during the pre-season from Sporting Portugal happened. Sporting got some players during the pre-season that will definitely be important players during the season, such as Aquilani, João Pereira and Bryan Ruiz. Other players such as Teofilo Gutierrez and Naldo will also play a role during this season. The objective is to be champion after 14 years of second and third places (and sometimes, even below!) Sporting already won the Supercup against SL Benfica (1-0), where they did a very dominant exhibition against big rivals. We had a few troubles in winning against CD Tondela's (2-1) defensive approach, but their goal was irregular and we just missed too much on the first half (we could have been winning 3-0 by the end of it, honestly). Saw CSKA against Spartak Moscow and they looked very dangerous on the counter. Musa and Doumbia are fast-paced and will definitely cause havoc should Sporting defense be unfocused for a while. Their defensive line is very experienced but seemed to lack pace, and Mário Fernandes leaves a lot of space behind when going up, and Sporting will definitely exploit that. I'm really surprised at the Overs here. 2.2 is just too much for two teams that care a lot about attack. Sure, CSKA has only conceded once in the Russian League but have conceded 4 goals against Sparta Prague, an average teams in CL standards and scored 5. Moreover, I rate Sporting Portugal highly defensively, Jorge Jesus really knows how to organize his teams defensively but it is a high-risk offside trap approach. I can see Musa and Doumbia having 1/2 chances of avoiding the offside trap and maybe scoring. We could definifely see overs here but I'm concerned that a 2-0 or 1-1 is very possible as well. But, if there is one team to score twice here, it is Sporting Portugal. While lacking finishing at certain times during a match, we are looking very impressive on attack and I expect them to hit the gas right at the start (João Mário, Sporting player at the press conference, hinted on that) and to score once or twice against a CSKA that does not look like the team of playing defensively ir order to give a big mental advantage. Even though if that does not happen, I expect Sporting to definitely score at least once during the match, and maybe twice... Therefore, Over 1.5 Sporting Portugal Team Goals @ 2.25 (William Hill) is a great odd and I would definitely give it a go if I could.

Back Kei Nishikori to beat Rafael Nadal for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Betway Back Ernests Gulbis (+1.5 sets) to beat Novak Djokovic for a 5/10 stake at 4.50 with Paddy Power Kei Nishikori came close to beating Nadal last time out and we all know how things have changed since then. In fact, I think that he's actually been the better player of the two so far in this season, so I'll back him at 1.90 to finally break the Nadal curse. Also, a small punt on Gulbis to take a set off Djokovic. Not very likely, of course, but 4.50? Full preview here: https://www.punterslounge.com/rogers-cup-betting-can-nishikori-finally-beat-nadal-

Back Pablo Andujar to beat Frank Dancevic for a 9/10 stake at 1.55 with BetVictor Back Tommy Robredo (+5) to beat Andy Murray for a 7/10 stake at 1.73 with Betway Back John Isner (-3) to beat Benjamin Becker for a 7/10 stake at 1.91 with Betway Cuevas threw in two double faults in a row when serving for the match yesterday, that made it as bitter as possible. Anyway, here we go. Dancevic is losing against players like Sekiguchi, Clezar and Bolt these days, so can't see him beating Andujar unless the Spaniard is serious injured. The 5 games head start for Robredo also looks pretty generous if you consider the recent matches between him and Murray and all the questions surrounding the Scot. Finally, I'll throw a few quid on Isner yet again. Tiredness should set in I guess, but it doesn't get much easier than Becker, who hasn't won a full match since the French Open. Back Vasek Pospisil to beat Donald Young for a 7/10 stake at 1.65 with BetVictor Back Lleyton Hewitt to beat John-Patrick Smith for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Bet365 Back J.Duckworth/K.Nishikori - Over 2.5 sets for a 5/10 stake at 3.20 with Paddy Power Donald Young did burn me yesterday, but it was all about Haas being poor and throwing away a 4-1 lead in the second, so I'm not reading in that all that much. Pospisil has been fairly consistent recently and the injury worries that prevented him from playing his best in Atlanta should be gone now, so he should be able to get the job done today. Hewitt has been horrible recently, but Smith hasn't beaten anyone particularly strong in recent months either and could face an uphill struggle mentally, so I'll take the 1.90 for the legend. Finally, Nishikori hasn't played since Wimbledon and Duckworth has troubled a few favourites in the past, so I'll be giving him a go by backing the three sets option 3.20. Litex-Montana Insane odds here,i must say.Litex are no doubt the favourites but not by that much. They've been eliminated by Jelglava and i must say they've looked woeful in the 1st fixture. In the revesed one, here in Bulgaria, they were a touch better but still totally unrecognizable. Then they beat Ludogorets on the opening day at home but is should be noticed that Ludogorets missed a dozen of chances to score. In the 2nd round Litex visited Levski in Sofia to concede 2 but it could've been easily twice more.Their main problem is defending. They posses pace upfront and hold the ball well but they really need to work on their defendng.Litex are a typical home team and they should not be underrestimated in Lovech.Lubko Petrovic will be without Viana(LW),Despodov(ST),Mllanov(CB).These are key men in the squad and their abcense could be vital.Viana is a great forwarder and already scored a goal this season but has injured his ankle and won't be available for a while while Despodov and Milanov are great youngsters and national players.Montana are newcomers. They started the season on a positive vibe and are looking to continue their form. They are still to concede a goal and that's something you cannot ignore but to respect. They began the campaign with a home game against Beroe which they drew(0:0) and according to the reports both squads have played solid defensively without taking any risks on the opening day.In the 2nd round they demoilished Botev at home by scoring 6 goals!.That was a massive defeat which let to Botev firing their manager and GK.Montana should really be up for this game and although i don't expect them to get a positive result in Lovech i really think the odds on BTTS-Yes should not be that high because Montana have enough firepower to net at least one with their motivation sky high while Litex have not had the best start to the season,it's still july and they are already out of Europa League, changed the coach and have 3 major missings, without whom they already showed weakness.BTTS-Yes @ massive 2.62 with bet365- medium stakes.

Real Salt Lake DNB @ 1.98 Sporting KC is 1 of the hottest team in MLS now. They have only 1 loss(to RSL) in their last 14 games. In their last 10 games in all competition, they have 8w-1d-1l. RSL has a mini-revival after a clear the air meeting following the defeat to Colorado Rapids. They have since won 2 games in a row and also got 2 shutouts. Their attack will be boosted by the return of Sebastian Jaime. He has scored 4 goals in the last 6 MLS games. RSL has coped well(at least at home) so far without key players like Rimando and Beckerman. Being at home, this will be RSL last so-called 'easiest' game before they embarked on a 3 games road trip. Against a tired and weary Sporting KC, I think the odds are pretty good to back RSL here.

MLS: Real Salt Lake- Sporting KC Big rivalry between these two and recent encounters have been "spicy" and are always very physical. To that end alone, I feel that SKC are at a disadvantage given that they have played Saturday-Tuesday- Friday over the last week and due to injury and international call ups, could barely rotate for the midweek US Open Cup game and 13 of the 14 who played against Houston in the last league game, also featured on Tuesday when they took almost an hour to get on top of the ten men of Houston, in what was an incredibly hard fought encounter. The way the match played out meant that head coach Peter Vermes felt unable to make two substitutions until injury time and this must be a team running on empty right now and I doubt a battle against a bitter rival just three days later and on the road is going to suit them. Having said that, there is nothing wrong with the form of Sporting and their only loss in 14 starts was here in Salt Lake just five weeks ago, but nine of those fixtures were at home and of the five on the road they are 1-3-1 and that sole victory aside, it is over a year since they won on the road without a goal from Zusi or Opara who are both absent this evening. RSL are missing key players too, with Olave, Beckerman and Rimando unavailable, but they have had a free midweek to prepare solely for this and have only left Salt Lake once, for the short hop to play Colorado, in the last month and will clearly be the fresher of the two squads. They felt they played their best football of the season in the first half of the last meeting, when they really took the game to SKC and could have been 2-3 up at the break, we might well see a similarly flying start from them this evening and to be honest, I do not feel that the visitors should be favourites for this. Hosts are very strong at home and have lost just once in 26 home starts since early June last year, they pride themselves on the Rio Tinto Stadium being a fortress and with two road games up next and already six points adrift of a post season spot they see as theirs by right, this is a fixture they have to get something from. Real Salt Lake level ball 2.02 asian line/Sportmarket.

Johanna Larsson to beat Richel Hogenkamp (-1.5 sets) 2.10 @ bet365 She played a final on clay in a smaller ITF tournament this sunday A bit risky bet maybe but I think Johanna has been given enough time to rest before this match. She is the home star and it's her best surface and her best tournament. She just loves playing at home in Bastad. She also has beaten Hogenkamp before in straight sets on hard a few years ago, two quite easy sets.

Madison Keys- Agnieszka Radwanska Madison Keys has the game to win Wimbledon, she has not overly impressed so far and had some health issues coming into the event, but every match will help her and she has a very solid team Lyndsey Davenport behind her giving good solid advice and I feel she is too big today. I have a LOT of time for Agnieszka Radwanska , she is very competent on grass and we won good money on her in 2012-13 when she made a run to the final taking Serena very close and then the semis the following year. However, despite recent signs that she is on the way back, her form has dipped over the last two years and she is not quite the defensive brick wall she was, but a very tough, steely and clever opponent. The pair met here in 2013, Agie was close to her peak, Keys just 18 yo and it went to a decider, 15 aces for the youngster that day, but she lost the match on second serve, she is twice the player now and her opponent a little less fearsome and this looks a good opportunity for an "upset". I have no problem with Radwanska as favourite , but circa 55% at best IMO, so getting around 33%-36% on Keys is too good to resist. Madison Keys to beat Agnieszka Radwanska 2.75-3.0 general quote.....3.10 Pinnacle/Sportmarket Pro. Radwanska to win 2-1 sets 3.75 -4.00 will ensure a profit if Keys takes a set and I think she will.

Brazil A Ponte Preta vs Palmeiras Palmeiras -0.5 @1.98 Min Bet 1.65 4.5/10 This game is completely wrong with the lines and I'll explain everything in 3 reasons: - The game is as Ponte Preta was the mastermind but they sold the field to command the stage of Cuiabá, so will be played in another stadium, more than 1000km of their stadium, where the region Ponte Preta has no fans and Palmeiras will have much of the crowd (single twisted) in the stadium, will be largely single twisted game. - Ponte Preta just lost three of their key players, Renato Caja best player on the team and one of the best championship is suspended, Fernando Bob important player also through drop-down field, and to make matters worse Biro Brio which is the only striker that unbalances the team felt injury and is being evaluated but not much chance to play, to play will play busted. - As if all this were not enough the Bridge has been playing poorly and comes from defeats Palmeiras to Contrari comes packaged very well winning games after the 4x0 and 2x0 team comes to another victory I'm sure the line of this game will end around -1 or at least -0.75, take time while there, then the information will become public and the line will fall.
