Just browsing the pertemps final betting ...some of the prices on betfair are staggering ..,Sutton manor for instance 40.0  and ballymalin 28.0 ....both have ran really well and if the run are vastly overpriced in such an open race ....

Champers on ice could be a good start to the festival ....has everything you want in a big race like this ....looked a good prospect last year when 3rd in the Albert Bartlett so has already proven he can handle the hustle of chelt and took a big step towards that level of form over chases last time and I have no doubt he has been aimed at this and will arrive ready to do business ...trainer is respected and I can't fault the horse ...I was going to back 10pt ew on top 2 rated but this looks an easy choice so I'm going 20 pts ew on that horse alone to see if I can kick the festival off with a bang .....holding back at the mo as he's still 2nd reserve but as soon as confirmed I'll grab the 12/1 if its still there else it will probably be 10/1 ....

This is a mixture of our Punters Lounge Ratings tips as well as expert tips, but either way - that's a crazy record right now!  
We've kept it fairly low key for now, but not for long. Before anyone asks, no we won't be making them subscription or anything like that. Punters Lounge is a free site and always will be.

Personally I think the gold cup will be won of these top two ...can't see anything else apart from sizing John improving enough ....Cue card is undoubtably talented but this race usually goes to the young pretender ..,the new kid on the block and native river fits that profile perfectly ....has been steadily rising the chasing ranks and the way he made the running last time suggests there's more to come if pushed but cue card won't go down easily ...I think this will be a battle royal but I'd expect the younger horse to just have more in the tank on the day ....currently you can get 7/2 on both !!....so that seems the strongest hand to play

Take the helm wins ...now we are rockin and rollin 26 pts returned ....takes it to 99clear points profit since changing to the raw rating ....at least the sums are correct so no reason it cant continue to find the winners now ... Nexr stop 1000 points !!! 

Well since changingnto raw ratings we are running at +81  pts to advised stakes and thats not including tonights race which could have added another 14pts to that had I backed in it ...so it definately shows you there's gold in them hills

Always liked jockey Stephen Clements as he reminds me a little of Paul Carberry, he shows up for just the one ride at Thurles for the bumper, he rides a 5yr old mare trained by Alan Fleming ''also his only runner'' she ran an ok race on her debut at Leopardstown on 28th Dec and is worth another chance.
A few of the usual suspects show up and it's not a race to go mad on but this mare is sure to know a bit more now after a break and Mr Fleming is one of those trainers that shows up when he feels he has an honest chance of running well.
