    Belenenses vs Moreirense
The Portuguese Primeira Liga is certainly turning up some interesting results and our preview of the week covers one of the games that probably won't be at the forefront of the news headlines in European football but could deliver some value. It's Belenenses versus Moreirense in a 7:15pm BST kick-off on Saturday evening from the Estadio Nacional with relegation still very much a concern for the home side here against their mid-table visitors.
Belenenses will feel that the pressure is cranking up in these final few games of the league season. Head coach Petit has led his team to 14th place but they are only 4 points above the relegation zone. It's a disappointing downturn from last season's 9th placed finish but the reality of the situation now is simply to survive. The only problem is that their form is absolutely atrocious. No win in their last 5 league games is bad enough but failing to win any of their last 4 home games makes the current predicament even more demoralising.
Moreirense can come into this game free of any pressure. Manager Vitor Campelos has seen his side reach 8th place. It's a slight slip on their 6th placed finish last season but they're still knocking on the door of the European places. Unfortunately, European competition will have to wait another season at least with the team 11 points off the pace of the Europa League qualification spots but a mid-table finish is now assured and they can start to prepare for a push next season. The team is unbeaten in their last 4 league matches and have also avoided defeat in their previous 7 away league matches.
On the face of it, you might think that the team battling for their lives and playing at home would have a motivation and inspiration to beat the team that is visiting and technically playing for nothing bu pride. However, the home form of Belenenses is so bad that when it's put up against the away form of Moreirense it seems mad not to back the away side to get something here.

    Famalicao - Benfica 19:15h

The two teams arrive at this game driven to go in search of a victory. Famalicão needs to win to hold 5th place, when there will be only three rounds to go until the end of the championship, while Benfica will have to, at least, score to prevent FC Porto, if they win before, if they are sagrado automatically champion. Motivated by the results of the last round, both teams must play a well-disputed match, with several scoring opportunities in the overall calculation, because they attack much better than what they normally defend.

    Tondela - Porto 19:15h
Fightinh to no be relegated , Tondela should try to add at least one point in this reception to FC Porto, who needs to win to be able to sit on the couch watching what happens in the Benfica game, since, in case of defeat of the rival , the “dragons” mathematically close the title. In a match that is expected to be dominated by the Conceição team, facing an expectant Tondela and trying to close the paths to his goal, there should not be an old-fashioned rout, but FC Porto has all the conditions, due to its technical superiority -tactic, to add the three points.

    Sporting CP vs Gil Vicente
OK, so @buga00 has been doing such a fine job covering this league that I feel a little guilty for writing this preview but wanted to get involved in the discussion myself. It's Sporting CP hosting Gil Vicente in a 9:15pm BST kick-off on Wednesday night at the Estadio Jose Alvalade. The home side are looking to consolidate their place in the Europa League qualification places with a win against a visiting side that are looking set for a mid-table finish with relegation still not impossible.
Sporting CP haven't exactly had a vintage season. Head coach Ruben Amorim has led his team to 3rd in the table but it hasn't been straight forward. Inconsistent form has dogged their campaign and it's only a recent run of 5 league games undefeated including 4 wins that has seen the team move on up the table. It also helps that the team has won their last 6 home league games in a row. European qualification is now looking likely and that will be a positive after that looked up in the air for so long.
Gil Vicente might well be in 11th place but the spectre of relegation still hangs eerily over their shoulder. Manager Vitor Oliveira knows his team need to start picking up wins with the club only 6 points above the drop zone. The 3-0 win over Desportivo Aves last week was their first league win in 4 league games so that will have been a relief. Bums could have been getting very twitchy if they hadn't sealed a victory in that one. The encouraging sign is that the club has made themselves hard to beat on the road but the sour fact remains that only Portimonense, Maritimo, and Desportivo Aves have a worse away record this season.
I have to back the home win here and I think it could be fairly convincing. Sporting CP boast the second best home record in the league. The club has started building up some form and self-belief now. It feels like it will take a decent side to beat them and Gil Vicente certainly don't come across as a side with that capability. I'm just wondering whether backing a clean sheet win for the home side is worth it or not.

    Paços Ferreira - Porto 21:15h
This is a traditionally complicated trip for FC Porto, which comes to this game having to win to maintain the leadership isolated from the classification or even to be able to take advantage of another slip of rival Benfica. Facing a Paços de Ferreira that has had a remarkable defensive organization, even in more complicated games, some difficulties are expected for the “dragons”, who may even win, but will face a complicated opponent who, if lost, should sell defeat at an inflated price2

Under pressure in an attempt to escape to relegation places, Marítimo receives a visit from a drifting Benfica, increasingly dispersed in the fight for the title, but forced to win to be able to provisionally match FC Porto in the lead of the classification. Both teams have made serious defensive mistakes in the last few matches, so this should be a game with good goal opportunities for both sides, in a match in which the draw is of no interest to anyone.

Both teams come to this game quite comfortable in the classification and looking to finish the championship in the best possible position. In the image of what he has done in the last matches, Santa Clara should try to continue the cycle of good results, through simple and objective football, but focused on the offensive aspect and the quick reaction to the loss of the ball. In the face of a Boavista who tends to take on the game against opponents of approximate value, we expect a very dynamic encounter with several goal opportunities from side to side.

    Sporting CP vs Pacos Ferreira
The Primeira Liga return continues this week and I'm getting an early preview in with Sporting CP versus Pacos Ferreira at 9:15pm BST on Friday night being my focus of attention for this round of games. All the signs are pointing towards a standard home win but is it as straightforward as it seems or is there some value to be had in backing the away team as the underdogs?
Sporting CP continue to fight to meet their high expectations this season but time is running out for Ruben Amorim and his players to break into the top three that they're so used to occupying year-after-year. The team is down in 5th but still 5 points inside the Europa League qualification places. A stark reality is that they're 18 points behind 2nd placed Benfica and the much sought-after Champions League qualification spots. One shining light for Sporting CP this season has been their home form where they've won 8 of their 12 league games including winning their last 4 home leagues games and keeping clean sheets in three of those matches.
Pacos Ferreira are facing a battle for their lives in the final stages of this season. Pepa will undoubtedly know the challenge his squad faces here. The team is down in 16th place but remains 5 points clear of the drop zone with a game in hand on the team behind them. A disconcerting statistic for the manager and his players coming into this game is that they've failed to score in 50% of their away league games this season.
OK, so to put it bluntly, this isn't looking like a showstopper. Sporting CP base their home displays on a solid foundation at the back. That's shown by the number of clean sheets they've kept and the small number of goals scored in each game with less than 2.5 goals scored in half of their home matches. I can see another such clean sheet victory coming here. Nothing fancy. Business simply being done by the home team.

    Portimonense - Benfica  1915h

Sorry latest previews but im with a lot of work .

Portimonense and Benfica face at Estádio Municipal de Portimão, in a match for the 26 th round of the Primeira Liga. In the last head ‑ to ‑ head for this edition of the league, played on 30‑10‑2019, Benfica won at home by (4‑0). The recent head ‑ to ‑ head record favors the away team, since they have a record of 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in the last 6 matches. In this match the home advantage may play an important role, since both teams present significant differences in the results achieved at home and as a visitor..
Both teams come to this game under pressure, one in the fight for maintenance and the other in the race for the title. Due to the determination with which Portimonense should show itself, because the motivation will have risen after the triumph against Gil Vicente, there is no provision for an easy game for Benfica, which has presented a football orphan of ideas at the time of the offensive creation. All the fuss that took place around the team after the draw with Tondela also will not help animicamente, led to Lage. Thus, it will be difficult for Benfica to add a peaceful triumph, against a Portimonense who should, at the very least, make life very difficult for the red team.

For this match it is not worth getting into madness or lyricism, since Porto's victory is more than likely and the occurrence of some goals too, so the bet suggestion is to combine the two events at a price of 1 ,75 Porto wins and more than 2.5 goals.

Hi guys, hope you are keeping safe and well.
German football is back and the Spanish has just had the go ahead for a mid June re-start.
The Premier League is not far off either so we can start to think about how we are going to finish the season in the competition. We will start where we left off from with all players in their current divisions. I know we will probably get a fair few no shows but this is only to be expected. We shall just go with it, the competition will be there for those who want to play.
I want to keep the fixtures to weekends only if possible as putting an extra set of game in midweek causes issues with people getting access to the site etc....
I propose to begin as soon as we get either the Spanish or the Premier League to go alongside the German games, some Div 2 fixtures may be included as will some other countries if we need them.
I reckon we need 4 divisions at least to create a worthwhile fixture list for the competition. The various markets we are used to may not be available for all divisions but at least we can move on.

Must admit I feel under a bit of pressure as I can imagine these tips are going to be more popular than before given the circumstances. I imagine we might see some late call offs, but as it stands most of the 3 National League games and the Northern Premier League games are set to go ahead. I have 6 bets and hopefully I can help make people some money.
    Maidenhead v Stockport
The home side are trying to get away from the relegation zone, whilst the away side are trying to get into the play-offs and it is the away side I like here. They are unbeaten in 5 games and their away form is very strong as they have lost just twice in their last 10 away fixtures and Maidenhead have lost 6 of their last 9 home games. They have also lost 4 on the bounce including when I opposed them last weekend against Boreham Wood. Stockport ought to be too strong for them and they ought to be clear favourites.
    Darlington v Farsely Celtic
Darlington won their first game in 6 last Saturday when beating Telford, but they had drawn their previous 3 which were all solid performances. They have been strong at home pretty much all season as well having lost just 4 times and I think they are a better team than Farsely. Celtic had to go to Evesham to play my own side on Monday and blew a 1 goal lead and Gloucester aren't very good. Farsley's away form isn't great either having lost 4 of their last 5 on their travels. Overall it is just two wins in 10 and one of those was against a really bad Blyth side. The home side look a good price.
    Spennymoor v Hereford
Got to take a chance on Hereford again at a big price given how much they are improving. I put them up last week to beat Farsely and they were impressive coming on the back of beating York 4-1. I also put them up on Tuesday when drawing 0-0 at Kettering, but there isn't too much wrong with that given the state of the home sides pitch. Spennymoor are a good side and deserve to be favourites, but they put in a bit of a dud performance last week against Altrincham and I think an improving Hereford are under-rated.
    Braintree v St Albans
A couple of weeks ago Braintree caused a bit of a shock when beating Bath 2-0, but that is one of only 2 wins in their last 10 games and although St Albans are a point below their hosts that is mainly down to the fact Braintree had a good start to the season and St Albans a poor one and as things stand for me St Albans are the better side. They have lost their last 2 games 2-1 but those came against two of the most in form teams in the divison, Dartford and Chippenham. Prior to that they managed to beat 2nd place Havant which shows what sort of level they can reach and I think they can pick up 3 more points here.
    Chippenham v Wealdstone
Given I have put up Chippenham a few times of late to great effect I am going to chance them to beat the league leaders here. For those who haven't seen my previous tips of Chippenham they have improved massively under former Gloucester manger Mike Cook which is no surprise to me given what he did at Gloucester last team to keep them up. They have only lost twice in their last 10 and are clearly a much improved side. There are signs Wealdstone are showing some nerves as they lost to Chelmsford, drew to Dartford and had to come from a goal down to beat Dulwich last week. This will be a tough test for them and I am happy to take a chance on the home side winning their 6th game in their last 7.
    Radcliffe Borough v Whitby Town
You might think I have gone made putting up a team who haven't won since Boxing Day, have picked up just two points in that time and scored 7 goals. However I think there is good reason to back them here. They recently got Lee Flower in as manager and he has improved the side. They put in a really good performance last Saturday to get a 2-2 draw against a very good Nantwich team. Whitby are pretty good themselves to be fair, but they haven't won in 4 and they had a kind fixture list. They drew 3 and lost 1. The loss was to Stafford who hadn't won in 7 at the time. Granthem have only got 5 points in their last 10 games and they drew with them and one of their other draws was against Mickleover who have only 2 points in their last 5 games. This gives me hope that an improved Radcliffe can get a first win since Boxing Day.

Pacos de Ferreira vs Vitor Guimaraes
The Portuguese Primeira Liga action delivers some tough fixtures this week with value hard to find. As @buga00 has already found, there are some tough calls to make and I've finally decided to take a punt on the game between Pacos de Ferreira and Vitor Guimaraes in an 8pm GMT kick-off from the Estadio da Mata Real in Pacos de Ferreira on Sunday night.
Pacos de Ferreira are just about staying above the relegation zone this season. Manager Pepa has led his team to 16th place and 6 points above the drop zone with a game in hand. The majority of their points have been won at home (14) compared to away (8). Back-to-back wins in the league have also given their survival hopes a huge boost. This is particularly the case because the one win came against bottom-placed Aves. However, just 1 win from their last 5 home matches suggests form is dipping on their own turf.
Vitor Guimaraes will still feel they can reach the Europa League qualification spots at the very least. Manager Ivo Vieira's side are 7th in the table and only 5 points behind 4th placed Sporting CP. Just 3 wins from their 11 away league games doesn't make them obvious candidates for an away win here but just 1 loss in their last 9 away matches shows they're a tough side to beat over recent months on their travels.
I certainly feel confident that Vitor Guimaraes can get at least a draw here and given the strength of the ELO ratings in their favour I feel the odds on them winning aren't too bad either. Pacos de Ferreira have been doing OK lately but there's a gulf in quality between the two teams and I think it'll show in this game with the away side picking up a narrow win.

This will be a game where only the victory will interest FC Porto, which goes to the ground highly motivated by regaining leadership in the last week. Ahead, the Conceição team will have a Rio Ave going through a good moment of form and that has exhibited a very interesting offensive dynamic, which may make the task, from the defensive point of view, difficult for the “dragons”. Still, playing at home, FC Porto's superior individual quality should be enough for the team to be close to a good result..

This will be a meeting of great pressure for the Benfica team, which may be required to win, in order to jump, provisionally, to the leadership of the league table. Now, in the face of a defensively permeable Setúbal victory, an individual quality of the "red" players may be sufficient for Benfica and be able to leave Bonfim alive, even though the sadinos can also contribute to an emotional game, due to the defensive problems that as "eagles" have shown in recent weeks

    Famalicao vs Sporting CP
It's hard to add to what @buga00 has already covered but I'll do my best for this 8pm GMT kick-off between Famalicao and Sporting CP at the Estadio Municipal 22 de Junho Vila Nova de Famalicao tonight. Both of these teams are firmly in the hunt to chase down the European qualification spots but the result of this game could have a huge say on their fate.
Famalicao were the early season pace setters which is an astonishing achievement given their tag as the division's new boys. Manager Joao Pedro Sousa has seen his team drop to 7th in the table but they're still in the fight. The club's home form remains solid, the 7-0 pasting at home the club suffered to Vitoria contrasted by a 1-1 draw at home to Benfica in the cup, so it is games like this that they'll be keen to win to stay in touch with their rivals for a European spot. The troubling statistic is that it's now 8 games without a win for the club.
Sporting CP remain a European contender despite all their problems in the background. The departure of Bruno Fernandes to Manchester United in the January transfer window hasn't really changed what was already an inconsistent set of performances for the club. Manager Jorge Silas has led his team to 4th in the table and the Europa League is probably the best his team can hope for with the club so far behind Porto and Benfica in the table. Just 2 wins from their last 6 away league games isn't great but they come to a desperately out of form Famalicao side.
These are two sides that are not in the best form but Sporting CP will surely feel they can win this. Buga00 has rightly pointed out that the best value could be on Famalicao getting something from this game but I'm not sure I share his confidence. To put it simply, he sums it up correctly that several opportunities will come for both sides and it's a matter of if they take their chances. I was thinking of backing an away win but I'm swaying more towards the draw now.

    Famalicão - Sporting  3 March 20:00h
The two teams go to this match looking to kick-start the instability that the most recent results have generated, in a phase in which they are separated by six points in the Liga NOS classification. At home, Famalicão promises to discuss the game for the game against a Sporting that has improved its offensive organization, but that remains too permeable defensively. Thus, the perspective is of a game with several opportunities on both sides.
