  1. Well I guess Kecmanovic gonna dump in Seoul. If anyone out there was betting Kovacevic. You are far craftier than I can dream to be, and I congratulate you.  But, sometimes there is also a stroke of luck.. So, lets keep our heads about us. GL Czech on your Noskova play.  I don't typically lay those type of odds unless I know the player, but she does have some recent results i rated.

Surely the performance of the day must go to Hurkacz who at 2.9 to 10 plays like a clown.

Atrocious tennis, not able to get 1 break point, against Sonego, who cannot be considered an elite player.

Plays a useless breaker and follows it up with a feeble reply in the 2nd set.

Just a bad time to bet on matches, as nobody seems to be brining their 'A' game or any effort.

it's a great time to bet on matches for me. Sonego has been a freight train this tournament.. the line was so far off.. you had to play him

  3. I just cashed on Sonego. I guess I would say Wawrinka has a decent chance but he seemed injured a little bit last match.. scared me off the bet.. I might be taking a look in play at this one but I will not be betting Bublik at any point. I was on Stan to beat Ymer yesterday, and I thought he'd do it a bit easier.  He's got a big test today, but I wasn't impressed with Bublik yesterday.. If Stan is healthy.. I say he chops a few balls back in court and takes this..  Really uncertain about it, but I'm rating the match as closer to a coin flip. Stan maybe 47%.

  4. Qinwen Zheng @-105 Tokyo

Lock it up boys and girls. This girl i have been following off and on, and I feel as though I've got a good read on her play.. I was on Niemaier to beat her in US Open if some remember. I am picking her to win the match, and it is also a partial fade of Kudemetova who I believe she can potentially elevate her game above today

These courts are fast in Tokyo, but perfect speed also for her aggressive hitting. Not too fast.

It would certainly be better for the sport overall to see Tiafoe beat Rublev, and then hopefully we'll see Tiafoe Alcaraz for something interesting. Tiafoe will have to recover mentally, though, and we've seen many players beat Nadal and then lose against someone much weaker right after.

I do not think is Rublev is weaker than Nadal.. And, I also think Nadal and Medvedev can be placed in the same category of elite player deep into this tournament that have nothing to offer this time due to injuries and fatigue, and are eliminated fairly easily. I also disagree that Tiafoe winning would be better for the sport.. I understand that he is a showman, exciting player, and nice guy.. I am a bigger fan of the personality of Rublev, and also his tennis as well.  Maybe you're right about what's good for the sport.. I won't argue with that one, but if you saw Nadal last match.. Then you saw a player tired of tennis, and not in form either.. Serving lots of balls into the net, and not defending the court well enough.

I feel like i'm crazy for wanting to back Khachanov.. I think the odds are ridiculous, and I'm worried about losing a big bet.

Both guys are playing really well. I'd say Kyrgios performed great, but atleast for sure that is not top form Medvedev out there.  I can say that with certainty. I imagine Khachanov will give him a tougher match without much doubt in that theory.. Something seemed to be wrong with Daniil. Either the movement.. power of shots. I can't explain the problem but the guy is definitely not healthy. I don't think Khachanov is having injury problems right now at all, and commented at the press.. He's feeling the rest during Wimbledon really helped him alot, and had some nice tune up matches on hardcourt already.  I can't explain Kyrgios rolling right through Wolf other than that .. one player has no problem holding serve, and Wolf could have crumbled under the pressure.. Anyways .. I haven't decided yet if I'll be betting this.. We'll see!

Rainz , you and me buddy out here against the whole dang world on this one.. Can't believe he came through.

  7. Andrey Rublev -110 to beat Frances Tiafoe with William Hill - 1.67 unit

I was plesantly surprised to see this match was scheduled for the day time or late afternoon.. I had some concerns about the crowd influence during a night match with this one. I am certain Tiafoe will get plenty of support, but this is Rublev's first attempt at a semi-final of a grandslam.. I believe he will give absolutely everything in the match, and is the more technical player as well. I will also tend to believe if this comes down to a chess match or battle of cardio conditions.. I think Rublev wins both of these scenarios. I like the way he is playing, and has overcome some very tough competition already.. Especially Shapovalov in my opinion who was hitting the ball outrageously hard.  Tiafoe has done very well, but I do believe the last win over Nadal was more a result of Nadal just playing well.. He was serving poor, making errors, and pushing the ball as he sometimes does. Tiafoe is a great talent, but I am seeing a bit of different in class.. I'll take my chances at these close odds.. As I'm giving Rublev a 62% win chance.

not Rublev's first attempt at a semi-final but trying to reach the semi's for the first time in his career is what I meant, and I believe he has the quality to do so.

Great writeups @money44 and @CzechPunter and I am following your excellent advice and tips all the way.

The only concern I have with the Murguruza vs Kvitova match is that Kvitova has beaten Murguruza the last 5 times they have played each other. Admittedly the last occasion was in 2021 and we are getting the outsider odds on Murguruza after all. I just can't help feel that is quite a dominant head to head record against a player. So fingers crossed Garbine can seize the day and banish that Kvitova dominance.

I agree with what you said about Muguruza.. this is why I only put a .25 unit on that.. I am still considering Niemaier because I think I have found something in that match.. It's just hard to go against Czech Punter advice, and also as for betting.. I'd say Musetti is a safer bet than Muguruza.. I was just diversifying my bets.

  10. Yeah .. I just talked myself out of betting heavy on that.. Here will be my card for tomorrow. I am seeing a good potential amount of dogs winning tomorrow.. I already mentioned the German as an option which I still like alot at the current price. and then players like Brandon Nakashima, Burel would not suprise me either.. It's just not something I feel very comfortable with. Martic in some fine form winning in Switzerland.. she's found a comfort in her game at the net. Continue to roll with Pliskova, and I think Bencic is not 100% motivated with injury problems. Musetti we discussed already, and Garbine Muguruza is playing good tennis finally.. Her footwork is fantastic, and she's fighting.. I like this one alot, and it's really more of a gift because of how many times Kvitova has dissapointed as a favorite. Right along side Garbine, but for this match.. You'll want to be on Muguruza side because I have this match lined as a pk em odds for both players.

    William Hill

    Muguruza +160 .25 unit

    Musetti +170 .25 unit

    Karolina Pliskova +100 .25 unit

    Martic +170 .25 unit

  11.  It's a ghost town in here right now CP. Surprised there's not more involvement.. I think there is a great betting card ahead today, and I have a hot take.. Wanted to get your opinion real quick. I personally think Niemeier is gonna destroy Zheng tomorrow.. I do believe Zheng is a massive talent for China, but this Niemeier girl is no pushover.. I don't think Zheng's return of serve is good enough, and her movement looks a little shaky to me as well.. I picked and bet both of these girls and won on them in their last match. I didnt' watch the matches because they were some parlay bets that I had, but i watching the replays now, and it didn't take me long to figure out which side I was on.. I don't understand why the public is so heavily on Qinwen. You will probably say this an underdog or pass situation again, but if you can give any additional insight into the match.. would be greatly appreciated.

  12. The way I'm seeing it.. Musetti is the more talented player, and I think most would agree on that.. He's getting more support almost certainly. His last match he's moving well and playing confidently but vs lower level competition. He's already beaten Goffin in the first round which i'm not sure how great that is, but I do think Goffin would be favored to win here. I'm a believer that he can win matches on hard court..  so I'd say that I really like the odds where they sit at the moment, but it might be something to try in play as well. I believe he'll fight, and give us a solid chance to cash.. but no bets places on anything yet.

  13. I am not impressed with Van De Zandschulp either or current form.. He got bageled and straight sets by Mannarino recently. I don't think Botic baseline game is good enough to hang with alot of players, and then beating Wawrinka for me doesn't mean all that right now. I have no idea what's going with Stan, but he is not performing well(serving, moving, backhand) confidence level. So, this doesn't mean all much either especially when u consider Moutet could just target his backhand, and Stan clearly was hurt and retired.

Why back someone you're completely unfamiliar with?

I'm not gonna do it.. went back, and looked at Pegula.. Pegula seems to be in form.. So I can't pull the trigger on it at all.

My best look at the comment is Cachin +250, it will probably close as my favorite bet for tomorrow.

He's been playing good.. I know they have been tough matches, but he seems to have the legs for it, and played conservatively.. tough competitors in my opinion for hard courts at the US open, and have noticed the Moutet has bandage on his knee, and last week tape all over his serving arm. So it's possible Moutet retires, but my book won't pay that.. if he finishes tho.. I am seeing this match as a complete coinflip in my eyes. I've got his chances rated at 50%.  Also Cachin's game seems to translate to hard courters much better than other South Americans.. seems to be more of a control oriented style that can deal with pace, and has a good serve.
