You can't argue with the other seven, really. Yes, Littler was that impressive at the Ally Pally.

Loving it so far 4-4. 170 already hit for Humphries and already 25 180s and 6 100+ outs.

that'll do mate. So often I miss out being greedy, like I'm going to on a few bets because Littler hasn't hit enough 180s.

Can't wait to see this kid on the tour. He will be the new Taylor you'd imagine. How does he NOT dominate darts in the coming years?

I have wondered the same thing... how do you even compete with this kind of performance? 
Humphries deserved the title... he crowned a really dominant season. I feel his masterful checkouts was the deciding factor, even with the very high average.

I’m with @Fader and think that Cross is the value tonight. Littler is playing some brilliant darts, but I think Voltage will put him under more pressure than any of his previous opponents have done.
Have gone with Cross to win the match, score over 8.5 180s & checkout over 127.5 at 4/1 with SkyBet.
I can’t find a decent angle in the Humphries game, I think he wins with a bit to spare, but he’s plenty short enough in the handicap markets.
Might follow on the 16 or more 100+ checkouts in the session, there were 19 at this stage a few years ago, so has a chance at nice odds.

Got to give Williams all the credit there. Thoroughly deserved. Outscored and outdoubled MVG there.

The two had very different fortunes against Norrie, and it seems that Fritz did a lot of work in the off-season to improve even further. He's a legitimate top 10 player nowadays, and I think that he has every chance of having a really good season, while ADM looked a bit sluggish to me in his first match of the season. At 1.67, I'm happy to open my season's account with a bet on the American.

We saw MVG perform in just last years final, too. He hasn't done much all year but he certainly has the big game experience

What an incredible last match. Ofcourse, my bets lost on the last leg. Fair play to Humphries though. That took some bottle.
Feel bad for Cullen, who seems a great bloke. Such a shame for him.

The comporure of Humphries is really astonishing! How does he even do that... pull out those perfect checkouts on the brink of elimination, over and over... wow.

this is the thing. You see him do some silly stuff sometimes but when it really matters he gets the job done. He has that champion quality when it matters. He beats Chizzy for me. 

Credit to Humphries but he's had some help these last two rounds. Talking of near misses, Cullen went ahead in the final set with the first 100+ checkout of the match. At that point, I thought I might hit the 10/1 for the win and most 100+ checkouts but it wasn't to be. 

I think most players 'have some help' along the way to win this. You need abit of luck sometimes. He showed great bottle there several times. I feel sick for Cullen and that's despite having a bet on Humphries to win the whole thing.
