I guess it's how you look at it. You can only truly know how good a tipster is, over a big sample of tips and there are thousands on our record, so that really puts a lot of other tipsters out there in the shade, because you'll find they include accumulators they've hit, which aren't really a true test of whether you can do it long term, only singles are.
I'd also suggest this - if someone said that if you followed these tips for life at £100 per tip and an average of £80k profit per year, would you just say "It's too many tips?" - I'd be finding the way that I could back them all, and to be honest, there's a ton of software out there these days that can do it quickly. Also, how long does it honestly take to put on 20-30 bets a day? We've become a lazy nation in my opinion, always looking for easy cash, but it doesn't exist. You have to put in the time to earn good money.  
I'll leave this to BH regarding the NAPS. 

The reason for a tip for every race was me.   Myself and @BillyHills discussed how was best to move forward with PL's new structure, design and tipping, especially for horse racing. I had plenty of people giving me feedback that they'd like to see tips for every single race, as not many sites do it. To do that, we needed a ratings system and that was devised by @BillyHills to be the future of Punters Lounge horse racing tips.

Neither of us believed it would be as successful as it has been, but when you keep things simple in your selection methods and introduce logic with it, you can't go far wrong as long as your knowledge is good.  
My ELO football ratings are of a similar kind of logic BH has applied, knowledge, logic and simplicity.

Hi Maxi just saw this post this evening. I have been trying something like this recently where I pick 6 games (3 Wins, 2 Win/Draws or Double Chance and 1 all three results) and do 12 £1 Sixfolds. I have had a bit of luck  with it and have hit the post a couple of times. I am going to try and pick the 6 Scottish Premier matches every weekend for the season and like yourself I am going to use the ELO ratings.
Will follow you and see how it goes for you. I did one this evening and actually picked three of the games you picked.

Here is my new strategy for the New Football season.
I am going to concentrate on the SPL and I am going to use the ELO Ratings.
No Ratings today so I am going to pick my own results to get up and going.
I have tried this recently on the League of Ireland Premier Division and have had a bit of luck and a few that hit the post, namely Bohs beating Shamrock Rvs and following up with a win in Cork against City. I know people will say why don't you use double chance so I will keep a record of both for the sake of the system, I will go along with my own strategy.
I am going to try and predict the outcome of the six games each week. each week will consist of 3 one off prdictions, 2 Double chance (for the sake of explanation) and final game covering all three outcomes. This will be explained better once you see the predictions. It will consist of 12 combination/perms bets over the 6 games. The stake will be 12 x £1 accums. (For the double chance system it will be 3 x £4 accums).

Lets hope for the best .... I will be staking on this personally (at a smaller stake) and I will keep an account of using Double Chance as well, in case anybody wants stats. 

The truth is, no matter how we fiddle with this, PL Tips are simply a way to make a living.
If one follows the tips EXACTLY, with a 20 pt stake as the records indicate, and follow the e/w as well, its all there! Even if the profits recorded here are WRONG and they stand by half of what is presented , it is STILL a huge amount for one year.
So, I am giving up, I will follow PL Tips by whatever my bank allows me, and that it! 
PS My friend at the pub wonder why is it I can pay for my own beers without a job for a couple of years now....

Introducing a couple of rules i hope to try and stick to throughout the season ..

1 - Post the weekend selections no later than Thursday evening ...the odds are invariably shorter come Saturday !!

2 - Post a running Profit/Loss total with a virtual 10pts win placed on EVERY selection , to be posted no later than Monday night.
 

So after Saturdays wins we currently show a profit of 6.20
