How best to stake these bets if the aim is profit rather than consecutive bets is a tricky one. Around 10 bets could double your money, maybe have a £100 bank and 10 attempts at doubling up. At the end, if bank has grown start with 10% of new bank, if not either 10% of reduced bank or stick to tenners.

I thought the WBA game was a bit dodgy and was not surprised it ended 0-0 but was very surprised when I checked the score of the Peterborough game last night.

Without wishing to be explicit about the extent to which I have or haven't followed your selections during my "tracker" experiment (in case you don't want the "pressure" of being followed or the spectre of being jinxed) I can say that with your selections included I'd be showing a profit despite the recent losses and without your selections I'd be showing a loss. (7.1 points up with you included versus 5.59 points down if not). So, assuming the recent trio of losses is a blip, you're doing ok in terms of beating the odds!

Cantlay, Schauffele nicely poised in the Phoenix at the halfway stage (Harris English NR so all the attention solely on Schauffele, no pressure now Xander! Lol)
Be interesting to see how the young lad Theegala copes with being leader. Got to watch out for Brooks Koepka in this tournament as well, going for his third win in this event.
As I type, Meronk making a nice surge up the leaderboard in the Ras and Bland nicely poised also.

Did some quick maths on my selections and backing each way with Bet365 at quarter odds 1st to 5th places my bank would be at +26.50pts give or take a point. Most of that admittedly from Hoge at 140/1 in The American Express. Therefore going forward i'm going to do each way for all selections that are 20/1 and bigger as i feel @fd1972uk  is right when he says it's probably not worth backing the shorter prices in the long run. Anyway time will tell and as always i greatly appreciate your feedback and ideas @Xtc12  and @fd1972uk
