Purely on first look. In form Notts county to beat a poor Forrest green. 1/2 Not great odds but this should be a banker home win.
Fleetwood are an up and down side but I think they should beat a poor Plymouth side. 11/10 is a fair price
-
If you back a team -2 on the handicap they need to win by 3 goals to beat the handicap so why is +2 not the same? Are the bookies viewing a 2-0 Victory as a draw?
-
Aberdeen are playing poorly at the moment although we won at Motherwell we looked clueless going forward and basically scored with our only chance. St Johnstone are a physical team and always cause us problems. There is no way they should be 5/1 to win. There is no chance Aberdeen will win by 3 goals so 4/9 for st Johnstone +2 goals on handicap betting is an absolute steal.
-
Villa Rotherham and st mitten all look good for the win against opposition that are in poor form. That is just on first look
-
Peterborough scoring for fun against a shot shy Northampton team who leak goals and have started the season poorly. Only team to have less shots are Oldham. 7/5
Double of Blackpool and Peterborough.
I fancy Doncaster to a lesser extent and there is the risk of the draw. I have backed Blackpool already as a single so not going to duplicate. I will put them all on a trembles and accum bet that I do every week along with a pal
-
I like the look of Doncaster at 17/10 v Wimbledon. Doncaster have had some good solid results and have goals in them. Wimbledon are struggling for goals and I just can't see Doncaster not scoring with ybe goals they have in different players
-
Blackpool 23/20 is a great price. Blackpool beat Mk dons at home and drew away to Doncaster so have made a solid start. Oldham are poor and leak goals. Their own manager has said they are not good enough. Should be a banker home win in my view at great odds. It will not surprise me if odds drop to 10/11 or worse
-
Fiver on sunderland olympiacos and Ayr. 7.8/1. Worth a go. Sunderland are the biggest risk for me but I just fancy them
-
Sunderland look big at 11/4. They have started OK. Sheff wed from what I have read have been uninspiring. Not saying sunderland will def win but poss cover the draw.
-
Have had a better look. I have already tipped Charlton.
Luton had a strong start and I fancy them to beat Barnet who will take a bit of time to find there feat. I think Luton will just have a bit too much for them.
The other team that interest me is Accrington. They seem to be decent and go a bit under the radar. Yeovil had a terrible start against Luton but did get some respect back midweek although wolves didn't play their full team. Think Accrington are worth a punt.
11/1 the treble with hills
Don't fancy any of the Scottish odds. So keeping away from them this.
-
Mansfield have not hit the ground running so I am going to keep away from them and watch their form over a few weeks.
I fancy Charlton to beat Plymouth. It is a big jump for Plymouth and as has been said they were actually better away from home than at home last season. Charlton started well and are worth a punt

peterhead on good form. Annan in transition and been poor 10/11 is good price and my nap

Really struggling to find value this week. Don't like backing teams so short this time of the season as lots of teams fighting for different reasons. The only value I can see if fleetwood at 21/20. They are an excellent home team albeit then lost the last home game but were unbeaten in something like 18 games before then. They bounced back midweek and they are good odds to beat a wimbledon side with nothing to play for and a below average away record.
Can I ask does anyone do bbts and win Bets? If so what do folknow fancy. I fancy Fulham and btts.
-
Brechin seem big at 3/1 away at Peterhead. Both in poor form but there is not that much difference between the teams. I think Mc a luster who is peterheads top scorer is suspended. Both teams concede.
My top fancy is West ham at 9/5. Bourmouth are conceding a lot of goals and West harm are scoring. 9/5 looks good value to me
-
Well done Andrewcalo. What was your winning bet?
-
I'd be very surprised if anyone won that much today. Only team that was well fancied that won was Sheff utd. The rest let us all down. It is the time of the season when teams are fighting for play offs, relegation and promotion so it is very unpredictable from now on

Shewsbury bbts and win
-
Price for morcombe is interesting. They have only lost 1 game in the last 7 and are good away from home. They got a good draw at Portsmouth midweek. Blackpool have not won at home in the last 7 home games. A draw is pretty possible and double chance is 10/11 with hills. Given the form 7/2 for straight morcombe win seems very high. I've taken 10/11 double chance. Doubled it with Bury over 1.5 team goals against Gillingham who have the worst away defence in the division (38 goals).
-
Bury on good form and are unbeaten in 5. Gillingham have the worst defence in the league conceding 38 goals. Bury tend to score so I may look at a goals bet. Buryou over 1.5 team goals is 11/10 which I think is very good odds considering bury's form scoring goals and Gillingham's very poor defence. I would have bury shorter than 11/8 for the home win given the above
-
Lincoln to beat York stands out for me. Lincoln's home form is excellent and has not dipped despite their impressive exploits in the FA Cup. York have only won 1 game away from home all season and are in serious trouble and could easily suffer a second successive relegation on the bounce. York have a few injuries and there is very poor atmosphere around the club who are in financial difficulty. Lincoln win for me. 4/7 at hills
-
I don't understand why Shewsbury are 9/2 to beat Mk Dons. 6/5 +1 is a great price with the draw on side. Shewsbury are in great form only loosing one of the last 8. Their defense has tightened up a lot since the start of the season and they are not concerning many. Mk dons are struggling to score a lot of goals and although they are not leaking many goals shewsbury are scoring and are the one of the inform teams in the league. I have taken 6/5 shewsbury +1 as I think they will get at least a draw
-
I backed the draw at 4/1 at have time which made me £15 profit after I backed mansfield outright before the game.
Oxford look a decent price at evs away to chesterfield. Oxford are flying and are one of the best away teams in the country. Chesterfield don't score many and I just can't see Oxford not scoring. I don't think it will be easier as I think Caldwell has chesterfield more organised and they have been better since he came in but the percentages have to be with Oxford and I would have them shorter than evs given the two respective teams form.

Sorry wrong thread

Morcombe have very good recent away results. Time limited to writell but price is too high at 23/10. Newport have picked up draws and are unbeaten in 7 before capitulating on sat. They cinched a lot of goals. 25 quid win at 23/10

Chelsea Elgin Stirling peterhead spurs man city should all be bankers this weekend. Not great odds (around 11/8) but all should win. All the teams are far superior to opposition
