Sporting Sam got a reaction from The Brigadier in Racing Chat - Friday 29th December
Kelso 1245
Schalke
win
won this race off 116 last year and upped to 124.
Down now to 120 and has William Maggs on board claiming seven. (feasibly well treated, by a minimum of three pounds) Visored first time and holds top weight. Profile of this horse lightly raced in the last year, stands up well to the opposition.

Sporting Sam got a reaction from black rabbit in Thursday 28th DEC/ RACING CHAT
Limerick 1220
The Electrical Kid
Flopped on debut for Willie Mullins after nearly two years off clearly much better than that judged on narrow loss in a maiden point to inthepocket.
Inthepocket went on to launch a successful rules hurdle campaign culminating in a supreme novices fourth to Marine Nationale.
Even a slight return to that form should see a massive improvement at this level and whilst a rout is not anticipated with that first run after two years now out of the way, improvement is most likely.
The Electrical kid to win by 3+ lengths.
On what he showed on rules debut it is hard to go overboard on this runner but looking at sa majeste yesterday Mullins knows how to extract high improvement for a run.
THE ELECTRICAL KID
To win by 3+ lengths
Limerick 1220

Sporting Sam got a reaction from The Equaliser in Racing Chat - Wednesday 27th December
Limerick 1402
No time to wait
win
Gordon Elliot and Sam Ewing are not a match made in heaven. This Sam takes all the falls literally for the yard with no steering jobs, his win to run ratio does not tally with his record racing for other yards.
a small covering win bet on
SA MSJESTE
Just in case…

Punchestown 1235
MARINE NATIONALE
to win by 3 lengths or more @ 5/6
last seen winning the supreme novices easily. This drop in class even though he’s yet to jump the fences could go well for this horse here. Either way it’s the first step towards the arkle in march.

Sporting Sam got a reaction from black rabbit in Racing Chat - Wednesday 27th December
Welsh national 1450
Chepstow
Super survivor
win
Placed each run so far.
laid out for this. Only seen twice since landing the novice chase on this card last year by five lengths.
Laying out horses mean you are relying on lots to fall into place on the day as race fitness has to be attained another way. But form has been well franked at both Cheltenham and Aintree in the national and with jockey of the moment Gavin Sheehan on board again anything can happen here.
Sean Bowen rode him recently and everything seems in place for a bold bid here. Fitness and stamina may be an issue but Chepstow only ever comes up soft or heavy and connections have taken all precautions save racing him regularly. Carries little weight as a consequence and as a seven year old looks unexposed.

Sporting Sam got a reaction from LEE-GRAYS in French Racing ???
Jaipetemps
11/1 just missed out on landing the race outright. Jumped the last in front but hung badly left over to the stands side. The loss of momentum and ground allowed the winner to see him off by a neck finishing with a wet sail.
Jordans made a good chase debut but with top weight was anchored in fourth. A likely winner next time in this grade.

Draw data horse was actually 3:3 recurring. And if applied correctly have you a minute in stall three would have been the selection.
wolverhampton
Amazing
win
steps up in trip here for Roger Varian
while the draw data horse correctly applied is 4:66
STRAY BULLET
Each way
David pipes runner is his sixth of the day and only flat runner has hidden form in France of 1122 and first three hurdles runs over this trip lamentable but jockeys half stone claimer of big interest here….

Sporting Sam got a reaction from LEE-GRAYS in French Racing ???
I love ❤️ the French (…sometimes) and true to form they carry on regardless and have some meetings today.
There is a chase race taking place at 1432 at Pau.
It looks a very ordinary line up with a few making debuts over fences and not many of them look up to this perhaps the ground will bring them into it at the weights.
one though that does catch the eye is
JORDANS
Win
making his chase debut here and a run of three straight wins was ended last time out stepped up in class to listed hurdles, but was not disgraced.
So if taking to fences, may be hard to peg back off top weight if handling the ground, but looks a little clear of most of these. Ability to jump the main question, but the experienced runners of the opposition don’t look world beaters.
Of the confirmed chasers
Jaipaletemps
Each way
Stands out with some good placed efforts and can make the frame under FELIX GILES.

Looks to be some wild weather forecast on Saturday and it may pay to be on the lookout for confirmed mudlarks and those bred to appreciate heavy ground.
