A wave of the sea 🌊
    each way best price
Gordon Elliot’s got a firm grip on this race through 8 of the thirteen intended runners.
Joseph O’Brien has an entry too and wave of the sea fourth in this last year and a runner in this years Liverpool grand national is down below last winning mark.
Josephs Godfather JP fields his sole runner in his famous silks and has the services of his retained jockey too. So of the dozens of green and yellow striped hordes running  today Mark Walsh takes the gig here. Hasn’t won for a good while but runs off 141 last win was 142 last year at leopardstown has been as high as 150, so looks very well treated and can hold own against Elliot’s and Gigginstown’s massed ranks.

    Tarjeeh
    win
reappears off the back of a distant win in better company and Owen burrows chooses lowly wolves for the return after more than 400 days. Burrows strike rate with his select band of well bred horses is prolific and he’s missed champions day for this outing.
normal jockey for these type of runs Jim Crowley is deputised by up and coming saffie Osborne and she has a real chance here. The horses directly linked to this horse are rated 98 and 107 which gives an accurate indication to within 20 lbs where Tarjeeh might have been. One of them ran today at ascot in the group race….. He may well need the run but that is factored into the price.

The first time in my life I’ve ever been called a troll. Anyone who takes the time will see I post at the post and in doing so I’m going back and forth adding little titbits of info about my selections. I don’t copy anyone else, I don’t need to. If there is some useful stat I go back to my post and add it on. If I get criticism which I think is unfair I kick back. When I wrote wish list it was kicking back and it was “tongue in cheek.” Everyone has their ways their foibles and everyone’s ideas no matter how off the wall has a place. I unreservedly apologise if I’ve put anyones back up. But more to the point I unreservedly apologise for making any comment about mClark’s endeavours. Everyone brings something to the table. My thoughts zilzalian are all my own work and I’m bloody good at it. What I’m not so good at is making a profit as mClark rightly points out.

It is the rugby tonight and it would be a major upset if England can turn over South Africa. I’m just banking on Owen Farrell kicking a few goals and better still a few drop goals as three in the match is 50/1. I’m sure  you can get better odds but one is 5/2 two is 12/1 and so on. Farrell is 3/1 for a max of a tenner to score just 10points and 6/4 otherwise. And 6/5 to score 9 + and it is those fine margins which just might land the cash.

has an Aga Khan horse here and the breeder seeks a card double having run off with the opener. This horse has been well backed both runs so far and ran well latest behind a good sort and with so many O’Brien horses arriving in opposition will go off a big price again.

Hugh Taylor is away until 24 th October
so I’m putting up selections in his absence and since I started  a few days ago it’s not going too bad at all.
    eyes a winner @ 15/2
fifty year storm won at Brighton
last night Notable won in the lucky last at Newcastle.
on the each way front kasino @ 28/1 hit the crossbar when nutted on the line by a newcomer along with acclaim to fame a win selection also missing out in a three way head bobber.
    placed fourth
another massive each way effort the other night too from ALGHAZAAL
    40/1 into 33/1 placed fourth.
it makes sense to stick with a proven winning formula and TRUESHAN
is hard to oppose in the 1315 at Ascot.
trueshan has landed this race for the last three years and comes here fresh from an all the way win at the Saturday  of the Arc meeting in Paris  that followed another uk win that heralded a return to form after some fitness and training issues for both horse and jockey. Faster than you can say alternative Japanese medication 💊 both Hollie and Trueshan have sprung back to full form and fitness and swept all before them.
    TRUESHAN win

Great stuff again Richard with reasoning. Good to see Kraken power running well and as soon as the current jockey gets off he’ll run even better and win. Hopefully Jo Mason. Ran well enough behind a good winner to suggest he’ll be winning soon. Notable too good in this grade.
One of just two winners  for me, book ending the first and last at Newcastle with Cusack getting up comfortably to win race number one.
    nutted

    PURELLE LAW
    win
the draw data horse here is jez bomb.
unplaced on debut and deemed unlikely to trouble the judge here as Thommo would say.
drawn alongside is hope Johanna for a rampant yard and given the variance in the draw could actually be the draw data horse but strict maths isn’t. Shaped very well latest and prominent in the manner of a mark Johnston reared horse. Charlie has carried on in the  same fashion which suggests he has been hands on for much longer than several higher rated father and son combos.
purelle law has form ( on debut) through  a decent sort which indirectly leads to a runner who wasn’t far off in a race at the arc meeting and is definitely up to winning here.

Another big price winner as syd Hosie enjoys another runner from colleague Gay Kellaway.
tomorow again the list warrants closer inspection as we are coming to that cusp time of the year betwixt the seasons and there are some odds changes in trainer . Luke Comer finally starts off loading horses ahead of his hearing appeal which he obviously hopes to turn over and with the big bucks and legal teams don’t be surprised if he pulls it out of the fire on technicalities/ and points of law.
