He’s third highest in the handicap and has gone close all runs in class four. Hugh Bowman’s first race strike rate is very good indeed and without exception he is the form jockey on the Rock. He rattled in a four timer last week. master of luck won on last outing in the summer and has returned on turf with a good looking fourth place. Harry Bentley rides the top weight from stall two. These two runners are drawn together on the traverse with Bowman’s horse in stall 11. A drifter every single run lattterly suggests this horse has frequently been heavily laid on the exchanges in past runnings. Both runners occupy extreme Beth’s at the top of the weights and in terms of class they look up with the field. Plenty in here with chances and the big danger is the progressive Prosecco ridden by Zac purton but a chance is taken on the maiden given the classic drop and jockey booking a change for the first time in three runs. Sha Tin 6:30 Regent Glory gallant goody both each way last time out debut winner ka ying cheer saddled with half stone penalty and top weight drawn stall 11 may yet win but short enough here. Winning jockey from previous race on regent glory in stall 9 again. Very well timed run which suggests the winner on fourth start had a bit more in reserve. Regents glory hit with the unlucky stick there. Bowman in form of his life ( even in defeat) if you can catch him right! SHA TIN 0700 war of courage holds an obvious chance under jockey of the moment. Gangnam Star both win impressive performance in barrier trial and holds a chance if able to confirm promise on debut in this grade. Joseph O’Brien has an entry too and wave of the sea fourth in this last year and a runner in this years Liverpool grand national is down below last winning mark. Josephs Godfather JP fields his sole runner in his famous silks and has the services of his retained jockey too. So of the dozens of green and yellow striped hordes running today Mark Walsh takes the gig here. Hasn’t won for a good while but runs off 141 last win was 142 last year at leopardstown has been as high as 150, so looks very well treated and can hold own against Elliot’s and Gigginstown’s massed ranks.
