Maskia 8:40 Warwick (25/1 Betvictor/PP). Take a bit of a flyer on this one. Seemingly improved effort on chase debut at Uttox when fast finishing 2nd to 130+ type. Then faced an impossible task against La Domaniale (who was racing off 120 but now rated around 135), I think that was a better run than it first appears, was close up until 2 out. Was running well at Wetherby after 2 years off before falling. Wants this better ground, still only 7 and just 9 starts under rules so could be more to come. 1pt e/w 25/1 Betvictor (skybet have 4 places but only 20/1). P/L: -2pts. Never even vaguely involved 🤢

Lord Chamberlain 4:05 Redcar (25/1 Hills/betvictor). Thought he looked promising on debut then a bit outpaced but not knocked about at Wolves next time. Taken a walk in the market, so today probably isn't the day but a few quid on just in case. 0.15pt win 25/1. Never involved, shaper next time but can't say that was too promising. P/L: 0pts

Arctic Lodge 2:25 Uttox (4/1). Outsider of 4 but might be worth a chance off bottom weight. Looks a stayer and up in trip here off only 80, can hopefully make the most of the lumps of weight he's getting from the top 2. 0.5 pts win 4/1 P/L: + 0.15pts rubbish

Jo's Rainbow 5:20 Hereford (4/1 general). Take a chance of this one on debut, getting nearly a stone from the fav who is no great shakes so far. She was pretty one paced but genuine on the flat and might suit hurdles. 0.5pts win 4/1 P/L: +0.65pts Jumped well but no promise other than that 💩

I've backed Asa a couple of times, and she ran like a drain. Today 25/1 into 7/2...loses by a short head, dodgy sods. Maybe the ground helped, but still.

I've laid Ittack Blue at around 1/8, will probably win but it's a mad price with a penalty and doesn't cost much to lay. Wasn't that impressive last time with some ragged jumps in the home straight and the runner up was closing at the finish despite ittack being driven out. Fair play to the fav, won going away this time. Runner up gave it a solid try but not as good.

Heartache Tonight 3:20 Ayr (8/1 Bet365). Top rated in the race. Hasn't quite done as well as they expected but still decent on her day. Fav last night and now 8/1, so a huge drift but I don't know why, she's fit from Newmarket 17 days ago and this is a nice prize. 0.25 pts win 8/1 Bet365 Pretty tame effort. P/L: +1.15pts

I'll probably have a few quid on her. Raining up there, which should help and I can't understand the massive drift as she's fit and bound to be trying.

Big drift on Heartache Tonight in the 3:30 Ayr, 15/8 out to 13/2. Ran in the Epsom Oaks last year and clear top rated but the drift has put me off and probably wants slower ground.

Hugueneau 8:10 Huntingdon 15/2 Betvictor.

Hugueneau 8:10 (5/1 General). Fancied this one last time when he broke a blood vessel and pulled up. They must think he's ok to go again 17 days later and I'll give him another chance getting plenty of weight from the fav (they've stuck their 10lb claimer on the fav but that doesn't always work out). 1pt win 5/1 P/L: -12.1pts I took 5/1 last night but can get 13/2 now. Added another point at 15/2 (bet victor). Looks a weak race and I don't like the fav. Hugueneau point winner over 3m, so step up in trip should suit and looks to want decent ground. P/L: + 1.4pts Finished dead heat but stewards demote Alioski to 2nd for some interference. Settled and traveled lovely, not fluent at a few hurdles. Not sure if Skelton mistimed his ride or the horse just didn't find much. But that might be the first time the stewards have ever helped me out 😁

The fav in the 2:13 Newton Abbot looks worth taking on with a penalty on faster ground. I've had a little nibble on the forecast 1. Fortified Fortune 2. Impecunious 3. Pirates Tale 0.3 pts tricast bet365 15.62/1 damn, thought it was going to land coming into the straight, but the fav battled on for 2nd. *I say fav but they acually flip flopped* P/L: -14.6

Cat Ninja 6:10 Windsor (7/2 BOG general). Info horse for Hotspur on debut and showed plenty, taking a while to really settle but almost winning anyway. £20k race so will be competitive and the top 2 strong in the betting so will need to improve but extra furlong should help. 1pt win 7/2 She was in a funny old mood, but still got it done 😁 P/L: -11.1pts.

Pull Again Green 1:35 Haydock (10/1 Bet365). Backed last time when I thought it was likely a prep run for fences but ran really well, traveled very sweetly and just got tired on the run in. Should be spot on now and 6lb turn around with Zain Nights should be enough to reverse placings with that one. scratch that, I've cashed out and will do it e/w with 6 places, makes more sense.
