Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September All with Betfair: England @ 2.08 represents good value. Switzerland like to play a deep defensive line and are well organised under coach Hitzfield. I see the inclusion of either Walcott or Lennon disrupting this usually solid back line with their frightening pace. I can see England getting many set piece opportunities which they are strong with. Faroe Island AH +3.5 vs Italy @ 1.71 I still feel Italy are not at their best following a disastrous world cup. This was proved after scraping to a 2-1 win vs another weak side in Estonia. In the last qualification they scored 18 in 10 (3 against Cyprus 2 against Gerogia) so I don't expect them to score more than 4. San Marino AH +4.5 vs Sweden @ 2.5 San Marino conceded 47 in 10 games last qualification. Sweden scored just 13 in 10. Willing to have a risk here. Bulgaria AH -1 vs Montengro @ 2.22 I feel Bulgaria are being underestimated due to their performance against England- 4-0 was not a fair reflection of the game. Montenegro beat a poor Wales time who are horrible travellers, yet they themselves are not great on the road. Bulgaria beat Montenegro 4-1 in the 2010 qualifying campaign (and they drew 2-2 in Montengro). Also got Bulgaria outright at 1.85 Hungary @ 1.63 to beat Moldova Hungary finished just 5 points off the top of their group for 2010 qualification that contained Portugal Denmark and Sweden. They lost at home to Sweden after injury time goal from Zlatan, and 1-0 to Portugal. Those were the only goals they conceded at home. Also Hungary clean sheet @ 2.12 looks overpriced for above reasons

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Turkey - Belgium Belgium (+1) @ 1.83 Stan James Young Belgium team can get away with something from Istanbul. Their team is much better IMO than in last few years while Hiddink has lots of players who aren't regular in their clubs and are out of form. Their 3-0 win at Kazakhstan doesn't mean much really and they will struggle to beat Belgium tonight.
That's a good reasoning and I agree that Belgium has enough quality in their team to take something from this game. However, I do not see Turkey losing at home, since that rarely happens. Draw @ 3.60 William Hill

Germany - Azerbaijan I was not impressed by Germany against Belgium, and like many people expected them to win 2-0 or 3-0. I'm guessing it is because the season has just started. I do not think that Germany will win this by many goals. We are organised team, have a good coach and we can easily manage 0-0 draw at a half time. Even though we lost 4-0 to Germany last year, we managed to defend well at half time and conceded only 1 goal from penalty and after we got a red card germany scored 3 goals. Most of our players play for FC Qarabag who have already played 8 competitive games in Europa League and are in a good form and also we normally we play better at the first half. Highest Scoring Half: 2nd @ 2.10 William Hill
The only way this bet wins now if Germany scores at least 4, but I think it's very likely since the only thing our players are thinking now is for this German porn movie to end :D

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

maximize.gif Sweden v San Marino -2 or -3 Dont know odds yet but i will play this San Marino is not the best team in the world and against Sweden they will have no chance i expect it to be 3 or 4-0 The match will be played in Malmö which is Ola Toivonens, Daniel Majstorovic, Behrang Safaris and Zlatans old homeground. And because of Zlatan the match sold out in 5 minutes. It will be the first time since 2002 Zlatan play in Malmö and i expect him to play 120 percent of his capacity and score 1-3 goals. It was around 6000 fans on the training today and on the training before match against Hungary it was 500. So Zlatan feels that his hometown fans really supports him and he is really happy. I will edit this post when odds are out
KAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATSHING 6-0 Zlatan 2 goals :nana

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

A few Corner handicap bets I like the look of tonight. Scotland - 6 Asian Corner Handicap @ 1.9 - BET365 V Liechenstein. Germany V Azerbaijan + 8 Asian Corner Handicap @ 1.9 - BET365. Republic of Ireland V Andorra + 9 Asian Corner Handicap @ 1.9 - BET365. These bets are based around the reasoning that I can see Scotland struggling a bit to break down Liechenstein early on. I expect them to win, but rack up a few corners in the process. I can also see both Germany and ROI winning fairly comfortably, and huge corner hauls don't neccessarily come hand in hand with big wins. I also think because of that, the AH lines are set slightly too high.
Amazing, i decided to follow this with a treble and it delivered! Cheers :clap

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Albania - 2 @ 2.18 - Betdaq V Luxembourg.
Sweden V San Marino OVER 5.5 goals @ 1.84 - Betfair. Correct Scores: Sweden to win 5-0 @ 7 - StanJames Sweden to win 6-0 @ 7.5 - StanJames Sweden to win 7-0 @ 11 - Boylesports
Bosnia & Herzegovina 0 (AH) @ 2.04 - Canbet V France.
Scotland - 6 Asian Corner Handicap @ 1.9 - BET365 V Liechenstein. Germany V Azerbaijan + 8 Asian Corner Handicap @ 1.9 - BET365. Republic of Ireland V Andorra + 9 Asian Corner Handicap @ 1.9 - BET365.
I watched some of the Bosnia game, in between England, and I thought they weren't particularly good. They don't seem to play with much belief against more illustrious opponents. Latvia V Albania was a dead duck. That serves me right for taking a side that in reality aren't THAT much better than Luxembourg. Sweden won as expected. Germany 8 - 2 Azerbaijan. Republic of Ireland 4 - 1 Andorra Scotland 11 - 2 Liechenstein All corner bets won :ok

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

High stake treble: Italy - Faroe Islands = Italy -2 Switzerland - England = X or England Denmark - Iceland = Denmark Reasoning Italy have been struggling but they should beat Faroe Islands easily, which lost 0-3 at home against Serbia on Friday. At least i hope they do:hope After a easy win over Bulgaria i don't see England losing this one, just can't see it happen. And Iceland always lose to Denmark, we have never won in the history of football, and we are missing Eidur Gudjohnsen

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Switzerland v England England (-0.5) @ 1.91 (SBObet) Don't usually like betting on my own team (or nation in this case) But I feel that there's definite value to be had in England to win their game against Switzerland. England comfortably brushed past Bulgaria, who I'd rate a similiar level to Switzerland. England never really hit top gear but won the game with ease. The rigid 4-4-2 and the defense as always been a problem for England but with Joe Hart seemingly established as number one, we do now at least have a good last line of defense. Dawson picked up what looked like a serious knee injury in the game against Bulgaria, but Cahill stepped in well on his debut and is a very capable defender who could step in and do a good job. Attacking wise England looked fluid and dangerous, the likes of Milner, Walcott and A.Johnson add plenty of pace to the team and on the whole England looked well-balanced. I watched Switzerland's games at the World Cup, they were very impressive against Spain although understandably they were second best for large parts of the game but managed to defend fairly well and win the game 1-0. After that win you'd expect them to qualify from the group but they lost 1-0 against Chile and then put in a very dissapointing performance against Honduras in their last game which finished 0-0 and ended their World Cup. Switzerland are often involved in tight games and can be difficult to break-down but their home record over the years isn't exceptational by any means. They've drawn with the likes of Israel and Bulgaria whilst losing to Luxembourg in their last World Cup qualfying campaign. To conclude despite Switzerland's usual tough defense and England's injury problems I still think England have plenty of attacking options to cause the Swiss problems and on the whole England have the better quality and should be able to win here and maintain England's good qualifying record under Capello.
England win 3-1! :cheers England dominated the game, even more so than I would have anticipated. Price even drifted out to as big as evens in some places. If only we could play this well when it gets to the actual tournament proper.

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Belarus vs Romania (2.82 @ Betfair) 1pt The Romanian team are in trouble, depleted by the absences of key men Christian Chivu and Adrian Mutu they laboured against Albania and paid for it when they struck a late equaliser. Chivu is back for the game in Belarus, however Romania are not great travellers. This is where Belarus come in, coming off of a great victory in France, are in confident mood. The victory in France will mean absolutely nothing if they can't follow it up with three points at home. The manager stating ''It is very nice to start the campaign with a victory, which in my view we totally deserved, but there is one more important match ahead, and it will require nothing less than maximum concentration''. It will be an extremely tight match, but I fancy Belarus with the home advantage to win this one. Switzerland vs England (Evens @ Betfair) 1pt As much as I lost on backing England during the World Cup, they had an impressive qualifying campaign going into the Finals. The difference is, the pressure is off and they can just play football. Capello has altered the formation to allow Theo and Milner to get forward in supporting Rooney and Devil Kid (Defoe), who is in good form...netting a trio of goals against Bulgaria. Switzerland rarely score at home and a goal could well be enough and with all the quality that England posses, even on the bench, three points is not impossible. *My picks are in bold.
1/2. England dominated throughout, shame Belarus couldn't nick that goal!

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Just taken England at 10/11 with Bet365. I know a few are wary over England betting as we found in the world cup but they we do have a knack of qualifying well. Thought we played really well against Bulgaria considering the key player absences and the news that Rooney will start is a big boost. Obviously the main concern will be the centre back partnership as it's likely to be Cahill and Jagielka who wouldn't have had alot of time together so their understanding of one another may be slightly ify, but with Hart, Cole and Johnson either side of them, they should be okay. Switzerland got that memorable result against Spain at the World Cup but in truth it was Spain's inability and rustiness to finish off their endless chances that cost them there. They play with a 4-4-1-1 formation with their main man Frei the one they rely on and if England close him out, their attacking threat will be extremely limited. Got a goaless draw with Australia the other day at home and a similiar performance will hopefully lead to England winning, maybe only by the odd goal, but at least a win. Hoping the quality will shine through in the match and not bad odds to take England at IMO.
Went as expected although were some nervy moments at 1-0 and 2-1 but safetly won in the end. Adam Johnson looks a player and a half may I add.

Re: Euro 2012 Qualifying > 7th September

Well, Hills have slipped up in my eyes with one of the bets available for the Sweden game, Sweden to keep a clean sheet is a staggering 1.44!? Why is this staggering? Well because San Marino haven't scored in an away qualification game for any tournament for 17 games! To price it up at 1.44 seems crazy to me I would have expected it to be about 1.1-1.13. The best bet of the week and as close to free money as you'll find imo.:ok
Well I'm not going to say this was the most difficult bet to pick, but I am going to take credit for picking it early considering it went down to 1.04 on Hills the next day..it was free money, Sweden were very professional and even though they were down to 10 men for most of the game San Marino didn't create any kind of chance, I had a huge stake on it so Im very happy. Scotland are a total joke by the way! :lol A ridiculous amount of injury time from nowhere in a game they hardly dominated, hope we can now stop those posts about how underrated Scotland are now. They are not underrated, they are crap.

Re: Sweden vs. San Marino.

Sweden vs. San Marino. Sweden to keep a clean sheet @1.44. (William Hill) The odds of 1.44 aren't great, but I feel they are too generous in this case. San Marino, the whipping boys of Europe, travel to Stockholm to take on Sweden in a Euro 2012 Qualifier. Sweden are developing into a good team under Erik Hamren and have won their last five matches, scoring eleven goals and conceding just two. Meanwhile, San Marino have conceded twenty-seven goals in their last five games while scoring none. San Marino have failed to score in their last seventeen away competitive matches, and I don't see that changing today. Andreas Isaksson, Sweden's first-choice goalkeeper will not play on Tuesday, but Johan Wiland shouldn't have too many problems should he get the nod ahead of Daniel Orlund. With the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Johan Elmander, and Marcus Berg in attack, Sweden should run out comfortable winners in this game. 1 Point - Sweden to keep a clean sheet @1.44. (William Hill)
Sweden 6-0 San Marino. :clap
