750 Ffos Las : Bankstair Won his only two chases since switching, the first was a poor 3 runner affair where he made lots of errors and then followed up but again was very novicey, he wont get away with that against these and now runs off 14lbs higher than his first win. Also his best runs have come on slightly softer ground than this. A lay at 5/2.

Re: Lay Of The Day Selections ~ June 17th Bev 7.30 - Hamish McGonegal - lay Comes here in cracking form having won two competitive handicaps. Not sure this small field will suit his running style as he's used to big field all out handicap sprints Also - he does his winning on flat, sharp or easy tracks like Mussleburgh and York - not sure this stiff uphill 5 furlongs will play to his strengths - might take the finishing kick out of him - indeed both times he ran here he's been beaten about 3 lengths, looking one-paced at the end of the race. Mind - he's in cracking form and I'm in lousy form........so I'm not confident !
