RuleBritannia
Hi Guys, Just a quick question. (or 5) Does anyone have any idea what the final date is to supplement a horse into a Festival Race that they aren't already entered? and is it all races that horses can be supplemented into? I remember the year Kicking King won the Gold Cup, Farmer Jack wasn't entered in the Gold Cup but he impressed greatly in the run up and close to the date connections paid a fee to supplement him into the field. (Tragically he lost his life days prior to the GC race).

Trotter
Re: Supplementing Horses into Races. You can tell from the 'Pattern Book' Big document ! http://www.britishhorseracing.com/resources/media/JUMP_PATTERN_BOOK_2010.pdf Basically it appears to be that horses can be supplemented up to the 5 day Decs and it only applies to the non-Novice championship races, ie Champion Hurdle, World Hurdle, Queen Mum, Ryanair and Gold Cup
