Tony Martin has his improving Taipan gelding in this Lochan Lacha.finished second on only his run here over course and distance when finishing second to Le Sparnacien by just under two lengths over hurdles, since diverting to the larger obstacles has run some fair races and should be in the mix here. George Oldroyd's Admiral Bond finished a nose behind Head to Head who is an absenty here and is coming into this with out a penalty. He has been running last year around the same marks of Cheshire Rose and have slumped to these kind of races, but is still only a five year old and i think will be there abouts under Tom Eaves. Tony McCoy gets up on Donald McCain's Reindeer Dippin here.Won nicely on only his second chase run when beating Riguez Dancer by a very easy twenty one lengths, comes in to this with a official rating of 130, 10lb up on his hurdle mark, but the champ on board and soft conditions will suit. Timmy Murphy gets on board William Greatrex's Barwell Bridge this afternoon.Won nicely on his hurdling debut when beating Causeway King by six lengths at Ffos Las just before christmas. Is probably one that is going the right way in this and should act on the softer surface. Next we have the hot favorite in Punjabi.Ran a great race against Solwhit in the Grade 1 Rabobank Champion Hurdle at Punchestown when going down by the narrowest of margins. He beat Celestial Halo by a neck last year at the Cheltenham Festival in the Grade 1 Smurfit Kappa Champion Hurdle Challenge Trophy, my little concerns is the ground, as he i thought would of prefered top of the ground and not this softish contention. Cloudy Lane needs no introduction to Haydock showing a form line of 11100141 notching up 5 wins, and was last seen over course and distance when beating Glasker Mill by a head when off only 1lb less than his current mark today of 156.Will relish the hard slog in these conditions and would be extremely surprised to see him out of the frame here. Prince Massini is going to be a hell of a price here.Trained by Evan Williams and had just returned to hurlding after a stint over the larger obstacles, he has not won since winning his maiden hurdle on Good to firm ground at Clonmel over two and a half miles. It's been a while since returning to the 2m trip and no reason why he should figure here but on time scale over this trip he has to have claims. Six Wives has a big claim to reverse that form last time with Lucky Mellor with a 3lb pull here.Six Wives has dropped back to her winning mark of 71 when she beat Admin over course and distance back in August and had Lucky Mellor beaten that day. So my attention comes first to Michael Murphy's Benandonner who has not run over course and distance for over three years when he finished second to McNairobi by one length when trained by Ed Dunlop. He is another that has only won a claimer here at Lingfield but over a shorter trip and might struggle against this field but capable in his day. Kevin Ryan's team seems to be hitting some form of late and his six year old Everymanforhimself was staying on well over 7f and the step up to the 8f here shouldput him spot on here, interesting that Jamie Spencer has elected to ride this instead of Aeroplane. Re: Trendsman 2010 Over the past few days results have been going seriously backwards with a big cock up on my part when i put in Cloudy Lane instead of Our Vic who had the second best time over the trip by something like 0.80 of a second but would of been a choice and to boot a missed 20/1 winner. Things happen and i will have to be more careful in future, if any one spotted the mistake on the times then you would of had the winner.

Attempted to step up to 3m recently but back to this trip does have big claims off his current mark of 110. His best run probably came at Punchestown when a long way back in ninth that day to The Boxer Roache in a 0-116 Handicap. You would have to go back to 2006 to see any real form from him when trained by Brendan Powell when winning a chase of todays trip on heavy ground at Sandown when off a mark of 107.might just find one to tough here and this is his first run back over on UK soil since 2007 and was not impressive then. Gary Moore has Sole Agent here and was last seen finishing last of eight at Wincanton on heavy ground going down by forty three lengths to Le Roi Rouge back in December last year. But was a winner on this surface back in January last year when beating Funny Fellow by just under four lengths in a small field when ridden by Jamie Moore. Is 9lb higher today since that win last year. finished also second by seventeen lengths over course and distance back in November of 2008 with a rating of 112.Is only runner in the field that has run around here over CD in heavy conditions, but was not that impressive to really get heavy involved. Carnivore as above should just hold the form with Ektimaal this afternoon and was a winner here in a claimer and a Handicap back in 2008 when off a mark of 75, is up 3lb off that run and should be there abouts again. Interesting one to have a look in the race is Monsieur Fillioux from the James Fanshawe yard, interesting Hayley has elected to ride this ahead of Ektimaal ran well back in December when finishing third at Kempton and if bringing that time to the table would have a big chance in this.
