I'm guessing its because he'll make a lot more by getting his end away then he will from prize money? Does him being retired at the peak of his powers have anything to do with potential stud fees also? He has done it all. His current value is as high as it will get, it can only go one way now. Nothing to gam and everything to lose. Why risk the money and the story? He will always be the perfect racehorse this way. The perfect 3yo anyway.
