JackJarvis
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. SportFootball (Finland) EventTPS vs Tampere SelectionTampere (Lay) Strength10/10 Date31/07/2009 Bookmaker/Price>Betfair @ 3.90 (Lay) ReasoningTPS are undefeated in their last 10 matches coming into this game. Tampere are undefeated in their last 5 but home advantage ought to be a big plus for the home side here. Tampere have won just 1 of their last 5 on the road and TPS beat Tampere 2-0 away from home just 2 months ago.
King Theoden
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. TPS - TamU TPS -0,25 1,90 7/10 @Pinnacle TPS's odds have drifted from -0,5 to -0,25. I didn't find the reason why, so this seems like overreaction to something I'm unware of. TamU's coach Hjelm thinks TPS is currently the best side in the Veikkausliiga and I agree on that. Even TamU has won 4 of it's last 5 games I don't think quality of their play has been very good. They are very solid on defense, but their attacking has seemed very weak and they've been somewhat lucky to get that record against weak or mediocore teams. TPS on the other hand controls ball very well and they are far better scoring team than TamU. Value above 1,70 for -0,25.
allthethings
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. I'm giving the game a swerve, even though it fits my strategy. I think the reason for the drift in odds is that, in spite of their poor away record and spotty attack, Tampere has actually won more games this year than TPS, who take 1 point as often as they take 3. The draw at JJK, after a first-minute goal, doesn't exactly fill me with confidence that they have the killer instinct.
Mahno
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. What a late penalty...94th min :eek I had bet on TPS in play after 80th min Very lucky ;)
King Theoden
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. VPS - Lahti VPS -0,25 1,98 7/10 @Mansion88 Bet against Lahti. They've won only 2 games out of their last 10 and been weaker team practically all of those games. Now they are having a tough schelude because of europa league-games and they are propably resting Litmanen and Rafael two of their best players. I think VPS is currently better team and facing tired Lahti here should favor them even more.
Puntteri
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. Have to agree with King this time. VPS is far from being my favorites in the league, but I dont think Lahti can seriously challenge VPS with this combination of a & b-team players. Lahti was lucky to win at RoPS with a similar line-up, but now the stakes for them in the Europe League are even higher after losing only 3-2 at Brugge and they will rest their feet as much as they possibly can ahead of next Thursday´s second leg. Litmanen is not travelling to Vaasa at all, Fofana is suspended and Toivomäki and Moilanen are injured/sick. The bench warmers are taken from the reserve team youngsters and nobody has heard of them. Also gk will probably be rotated and the star striker Rafael will start from the bench. I had a post about Inter-RoPS here earlier, but as it had no informational value and would lead only to speculations about match-fixing I decided to delete it. lurie
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. i see that vps are missing some players too: Ahlvik, Tuuri, Saranpää are they important? thanks
Chriss
Re: Finland, Weekend, 31st of July - 2nd of August. Only Jani Saranpää is important player to VPS...Joacim Tuuri and Jan Ahlvik are'nt really important misses.

SportFootball (Finland) EventKUPS vs Jaro SelectionJaro (Lay) Strength10/10 Date02/08/2009 Bookmaker/Price>Betfair @ 2.90 (Lay) ReasoningJaro have not won in their last 7 competitive matches and have lost 2 of their last 3. A 5-3 thrashing away at 2nd bottom RoPS was followed by a 1-0 loss at home to Inter Turku. Despite sitting bottom Kuopio have played well in their last two games. Draws at home to Lahti and Mariehamn were two good results and a repeat performance here will be good enough to avoid defeat.
