  1. Re: UEFA Europa League > 29th April Has to be Fulham for me tonight. They seem to get the job done time and time again at Craven Cottage and although Hamburg controlled the 1st leg, they never looked a goalscoring threat for much of the game. With the home fans now behind them, Fulham will go for it a bit more here and their record at home this season has been pretty faultless so far. Currently 2.28 in Asia -0.5 which is tremendous value imo.
  2. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27th - 28th April Ridiculous, Barcelona have clearly been robbed out of the victory there. What is Mourinho all about running onto the park? The guy needs a fcuking kicking, he really does.

Had a spin on the flat just a few weeks ago which should put him spot on for this and this is definetly a drop in grade from his previous races over hurdles. Represents the George Moore team who had a winner just the other day and looks a good each way bet at 8/1 to run a good race.

Finished 5th in the 2009 Grand National and his two runs in much higher grade this season ought to have put him back on track after a spell on the sidelines. Races off a mark of 130 and if retaining any of his old ability, he should run a massive race of this mark.

The return to this quicker surface will also suit and looks a good each way bet 6/1 in what is an uninspiring contest.
  6. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27th - 28th April Lyon vs Bayern : Lyon to qualify @ 3.75 Ladbrokes This price is simply too good to turn down here in my opinion. Lyon didn't show much in the first leg but I expect things to be different back in France for the 2nd leg and Bayern will be missing influential star Franck Ribery through suspension. I really don't rate Bayern that much at all, and certainly don't think Lyon should be rated 11/4 shots to qualify from this tie as they are only losing 1-0 afterall. Around 2/1 is probably a fairer price considering the French side do have the backing of their home fans tonight and will go at Bayern from the first whistle.
  7. Re: UEFA Europa League 22nd April Kerching :cow:beer Hope it was only Jase who backed Hamburg after reading my post. :ok
  8. Re: UEFA Europa League 22nd April I very much like the look of Fulham to get something from Hamburg tomorrow night and 2.30 for Fulham +0.5 in Asia looks really really tempting. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the game were to finish 0-0 considering Hodgson will probably set up 4-5-1 with Zamora upfront on his own and very much like their games against Shakthar and Wolfsburg, Fulham will simply look to frustrate Hamburg and close Hamburg down at every opportunity. Wolfsburg are much higher than Hamburg in the Bundesliga and they never looked like scoring at home against Fulham in the last round. If Hodgson sets up a similar approach here whilst looking to nick one on the counter, you have to say the Cottagers offer terrific value and even Under 2.5 at around 10/11 looks value imo.
  9. Re: Snooker: World Championships 2010 Some reception Steve Davis got. :notworthy
  10. Re: Snooker: World Championships 2010 Stephen Maguire vs Stephen Lee Both of these players have been in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons for the majority of the season and Maguire especially may not be fully focused on the job at hand here considering the continued allegations of 'dodgy' betting patterns against him. Lee has also been in the headlines for similar reasons but he definetly seems to be in the clear alot more now and he may well get the feeling he can cause an upset here. Maguire has never really lived upto his potential in my opinion and although he is a better player than Lee on his day, giving away a 3.5 frame start is a massive ask considering his mind may well be elsewhere. Stephen Lee qualified with ease for this event with a 10-2 win against Mike Dunn and the big man is a match for most players on the circuit when he is on a going day. The 9/4 available on an outright Lee win is very attractive but 10/11 for Lee getting a 3.5 frame start is fantastic value and I simply have to snap this up. Back Stephen Lee +3.5 frames @ 1.91 Stan James
  11. Re: Snooker: World Championships 2010 Mark Williams vs Marcus Campbell Marcus Campbell comes into this game after beating Matthew Stevens 10-9 in qualifying but a closer inspection at that match shows both players did not produce sno[url=http://images.sportinglife.com/08/04/330/Mark_Williams_v_Mark_Davis_Crucible_809624.jpg]oker worthy of being on show at The Crucible and Marcus definetly has his work cut out here against a rejuvinated Mark Williams. The Welshman is top class on his day and the signs from him this season definetly suggest he is returning to his very best. Unlike his opponent Mark has bundles of experience at the top level and he should have far too much class for his opponent here. I would expect Williams to win this very comfortably and definetly can't see Marcus Campbell notching 7 frames against the in form Welshman. Mark Williams -3.5 frames @ 1.72 Paddy Power
  12. Re: 3 banks on bet365 well done so far mate :clap
  13. Re: Snooker: World Championships 2010 Absolutely love this tournament. :D Players for me that have to be opposed are Stephen Maguire & Shaun Murphy. Both have looked poor for most of the season so far and I definetly will be looking at the handicaps available on Stephen Lee & Gerard Greene. I actually think Lee is tremendous value at 5/2 to beat Maguire with the only concern being the longer frame matches don't tend to suit Lee as much.
  14. Re: Champions League- 6th April And that proves the odds were correct all along, and Barca, if anything should have been shorter than the odds on offer. Will never understand how people could have thrown money away on Arsenal tonight, be aswell flushing it down the toilet at 7.45pm. :lol
