Blaze Ahead has been the winner or placed in 6 of his last 9 runnings dating back to 24Nov07. Three WINS, one 2ND, and two 3RDS at trips ranging from 23f to 26f using those 9 races. 1pt ew @ 20/1 skybet 2:10 Exeter Amazing Valour Favorite for this race last year at the price of 10/3 from just 7 runners. That race was won by The Risky Viking who finished 17L clear of second placed Finzi. He also won on Heavy ground on his career debut in a bumper at Taunton's 2m1f trip by 9L. He's an out and out stayer who goes well in soft/heavy ground. Has won at the track before. Although he's rated 81 and is running off 94 here (out of the handicap) he's quite well in on his best form from 2007 when he won off 110.
