Thanks for your share... F00tb4ll You do understand the concept of laying?? Basically Ebor is betting against a given event occuring. For example in his last bet he betted against Wigan beating Arsenal, the odds he recieved were 20.04. Which is about 19/1. Now since he is betting against a 19/1 shot happening he had to obviously put a larger amount on the line (his liability) in order to win an amount (which is the backer's stake - what he'd be winning from the backer). Now for the last bet he had to risk £37.70 in order for the backer's stake to be £1.88 (which was his profit after the event did not occur).
