Re: Best Bet Of The Day 31st Jan Its been a very poor month for me Graham, last bet is here & its a potentially big price, however i do have many reasons for tipping it! 2.00 Towcester Glen Thyne won on this card last year, comments from the race as follows: A modest event but one that will longer be remembered by Caroline Bailey as GLEN THYNE provided her with a first winner with a trainer's licence. The seven-year-old had been trained by Kim Bailey when winning the race a year ago and has shown his best form here but he still had plenty to do coming up the hill as the leader jumped fluently in front. However, his rider never gave up and he got the response he had hope for after the last as he stayed on strongly on the run-in to land the spoils. He should continue to give a good account at this level. Has ran 10 times here winning 3 & 2 places with the last victory off 85. Runs off a season low of 87 tomorrow. Will like the ground & should be ok reverting back to 17f. TRainer doesnt have many winners but this is one of her better horses.
