Nov +38.29 pts Dec +99.12 pts Jan +42.17 pts Feb +74.00 pts March will be the last month of this thread. I will be taking a short break in Northern Ireland and will post up any odd E/W value bet in the ATR thread. Hopefully this could bring about an improved effort 5.20 Leicester 1 pt E/W Viscount Bankes @8/1 with BetFred Best over todays trip[ of 2 miles. Faces a very stiff task against Armaturk But could bit up the prize if anything goes wrong for the favourite. May post a bit later 12.30 before setting off to the races. cavello
Re: Cavelloman's Winter E/W Value Bets 2007/8 3.,30 Cheltenham Exotic Dancer 1 pt E/W @11/1 with Bet365(BOG):hope Only just behind Kauto Star twice on left handed course and beaten just 2 and !/2 lengths last year. But the going should be softer this year and the pace quicker and this may bring about a change in their respective positions. Still a comparatively young horse, so this is not a forlorn hope. Denman 2 pts E/W @2/1 with Ladbrokes:hope Ladbrokes are going a bit to long here IM0. Winning a race like The Hennessey with a heavy load is usually an indication that a curse is exceptional. Not that impressive in a subsequent race in Ireland and on collateral foem from that race is held by KS and ED. But on this course today things could be very different.. With the place odds on Betfair @1.44 we are getting abit of value at 1/4 odds a place and in actual fact Ladbrokes are going longer then the current price on Betfair. cavello
Re: Cavelloman's Winter E/W Value Bets 2007/8 Same race Neptune Collonges 1pt E/W @28/1 with BetDirect 1/4 odds E/W:hope Wiinner last year of the Punchestown Gold Cup and being from the same stable as the first 2 in the betting may have been overlooked a wee bit. Only negative IMO is the fact that he appears to make bad errors on this course at some point in his races here. Finally a very spectilative E/W. A 10 year old with very little racing but supplemented late for this race after beating horses of the calibre of Snowy Morning and Hedgehunter. Afistfullofdollars 1/2 pt E/W @ 33/1 with Corals:hope Good luck everybody we may just need it:hope

cavello
Re: Cavelloman's Winter E/W Value Bets 2007/8 Just one race today interests me from a betting perspective. 3.35 Wetherby with a hot favourite in Nosferatu we are getting some E/W value and the this favourite looks far from bullet proof in this very poor hurdle race. Scots Mill 1 pt E/W @7/1 with Stan James(BOG) Won a poor hurdle race earlier in season and been running in chases recentlly. Represent value based on the market comparsion. Show Potential 1/2 pt E/W @25/1 with Stan James(BOG). Showed a little potential at Huntingdon on Boxing Day and in subsequent raced prominent untill 3 out then fell away rapidly and was pulled up. May :hope be a little better then appears at the moment.

cavello
Re: Cavelloman's Winter E/W Value Bets 2007/8 :clapProfit to Date =294.78 pts:clap Jumped the gun a bit still under 300 pts with only a few bets left for the winter campaign. But combined with last summer'sS E/W thread over 400 pts. Those that also follow my advice all last year and bet at c £10 a point should have a few grand in the bank. Pity the shares I've invested with some of my punting winnings have gone down by 10%:cry. Apart from treating yourself anf her indoors.I feel it a good ideal to use your winnings for investment in things like premium bonds, coins, antiques collectables etc etc. It a nice feeling to loolk at something and know that was earned from your time and effort on the betting front. :ok Next week this thread will close and I will start a summer E/W thread from May. The odd bet that I find in April will be put up in the ATR section. If there is a bet today and looking at the way the markets are going,I may have missed the boat will be put up betwwen 3 and 4.15 today. Hopefully tomorro will be a good day for some E/W doubles.:hope May be back later today.:ok
