Their first game in Premier is against last year's third-place finisher, which was strong at home and on the road, scoring a fair number of goals in the process. Taking a flyer with the O 2.

Kuban will be looking for a good result at its first home match in the Premier League after promotion so I can see value in 1X. No liquidity so far at Betfair, bookies offer 1.66 for 1X. Small stake 2/10 for me. CSKA Moscow sould take care of Rubin but odds are too low for my taste, especially for an opening round. Spartak Moscow is expected to be stronger than Dinamo Moscow but Dinamo had very good results in pre-season so perhaps they have the advantage in form. Saturn were the Kings of Draws last season (16 in 30 matches), Zenit had 6 draws in 15 matches at home so perhaps the value in this match is in the draw.

Zenit in this season as english Chealsea. They have many money injections :) Today Zenit is one from 3 most reach Russian clubs, but Saturn now is strong team. They have some good russian players as forward Kirichenko etc... No bet

Re: Russia Premier Division (Mar 10-11) ... and very very interesting Dinamo - Spartak match. as said cluelessG Dinamo "had very good results in pre-season" - 8 wins and 1 draw from 20 jan 2007 - but they beaten not strong clubs as Top Oss (Holland), Mattersburg (Austria), some russians clubs. 1-1 with Derry City... Dinamo has new sponsors, but more poor sponsors :) In this season Dinamo havent money and will finish in meaddle table. Spartak now in dangerous psycho situation. Evil fans, strange transfer politic, poor form some main players, conflicts between club directors and fans, best forward of last RusChamp Pavluchenko inj... Today Spartak fans decide ignore first half hour and shout up on match - no applause, no one word... And after loose in EuroCups, Loose in Rus Supercup Spartak will give great battle. Rostov score 1 or more goals. 1.6 in Russia 5/10 Amkar Perm - team-under 2.5 last season in 2007 as said my Perm friends change self politic on field and started more offensive. And Rostov's coach long time said - Rostov is Brasilian team. :) We don't think about deffense, our target - goals. Only bad weather chandge my opinion on over 2.5 in this match, but Rostov score is good for me
