socky1
Starting off with one the hardest betting prospects ive seen in ages to get the ball rolling. 2:45 Ellen Construction Thyestes Handicap Chase Having looked at the race in some detail here's what Ive come up with. I feel this will be a real stanima test and on paper looks a difficult puzzle to solve. With two stone to give away to some of his rivals Southern Vic may find it tough despite being the class horse of the race. My first instinct was to look at the bottom of the weights with ground being so testing but I really think they all have too much improvement to make. In the end I sided with Kerryhead Windfarm. Jumping seemed to let him down last season ,however jumped like stag when finishing 2nd in the Troytown chase back in October. All best efforts have come over longer trips and certianlly looks like staying further. Finshed 8 lenghts infront of Southern Vic last time and is 9lb worse off ,however I beleive will improve on that. Recomendation 3pts e/w Kerryhead Windfarm 1pt reverse forecast Kerryhead Windfarm / Southern Vic

socky1
Re: Socky Specialisation - Irish Jumpers They are calling it best hurdles race ever to be run in Ireland and I cant think of a race of this stature that has been run in my time in racing. What fascinates me most about the race the inclusion of the top Juviniile/novice hurdlers. Hardy Eustace - Lost nothing in defeat when behind detroit city last time out, ran a really good race and looked like he was coming back to win at one stage. I personally thought they may have risked taking further again this season but the two time champion hurdle winning 10 year old is still well capable of winning a race like this. Brave Inca and Iktitaff have beaten ecah other and asian maze allready this season, there dosent seem to be alot between them . Brave inca won this race last year and I beleive will take all the beating. Of the others well Jazz messengers won very well last time out but still has a lot find to win this. Macs Joy has his first run the season and genrally needs a run or two to get going. It would be a real achivement if one of the two wild cards in the race were to win. By that I mean smart novice 'Hide The Evidence' and juvenile 'Lounaos' who does receive a nice allowance for being that age however would still be a remarkable acheiment were it to win. I'm going to back two in the race. Brave Inca 10pts win @ 11/8 and Hardy Eustace 2pts e/w @ 9/

socky1
Re: Socky Specialisation - Irish Jumpers 3:15 Thurles The Ex Townie looks really a good each well value here to me although im goning to make this quick bacause the price is dropping as we speak. Bassically ive just taken 16/1 and it was as big 25/1 earlier best price 12's now. Ive spoken to 'My Man' in Ireland who likes the bet and looking at the form seems like could have plenty improvement to come. Well beaten on both starts so far but 2 nd to a good horse last time and word is he will be more suited to todays ground. 1pt e/w
socky1
Re: Socky Specialisation - Irish Jumpers Il like the mullins horse in the bumper Nancy Wake, trick races to win these but should be thereabouts according last two runs. 5/2 a bit skinny but definaltlly one for all the e/w yankees ect. socky1
Re: Socky Specialisation - Irish Jumpers Cracking sunday racing again in Ireland today from Punchestown. The 2:35 see's last years Champion Chase winner Newmill go over fences for the first time this season and expect a big run. Took to chasing really well last year and won three top races back to back, including a very impressive win over C&D here. Nickname has looked part this year over shorter distances and is starting to look real class act. Having said that has only beaten horses who seem to be have been past there best this season three of which re-oppose today. Watson Lake has always threatened to be a top chaser but has never quite lived up to his billing. Was travelling well last time out when falling but not one reley on. Central House has been a shadow of his former self this season and again not to be risked. Jim likewise has'nt quite hit top form yet but has shown some signs the abilty is still there and be the each way value in the race. Selection - Newmill 10 pts win
