Re: All Blacks European Tour Ppretty confident the AB's will take out a very poor England and Wales. Only thing that worries me is the French matches. The French are the only real challenger to the AB's for the World Cup. Be interested to see what strength of team is put out for the matches. If we drop the rotation policy and start with the first choice team (assuming henry knows what it is) 3 from 4 for the AB's should be ok. Welcome to the PL Kiwimike, quite a few Nz'ers on here these days.

Re: All Blacks European Tour

I'm looking for a bookie that will offering me a price on NZ choking in the semis.
Just like they always do ?? :) not going to happen this time, the World Cup has been the prime focus of the AB's for the last 3 years, they are the best prepared and talented team in the tournement, France in the final could perhaps be a problem, but other than that, fear no one. English are a shamles, Aussies lightweight at the scrum, Yarpies hamstrung by racial quotas. French or Ab's to triumph

Re: All Blacks European Tour Yarpies might be a danger in the high veld. At sea level the AB's will run all over them, the Safas ain't a great team, look at their tri nations performances away from home this year. French are the only danger.

Re: All Blacks European Tour

:rollin You keep telling yourself that mate! On any given day, away from NZ - Wales, ireland, France and the Saffas can beat you.
Have to agree with FoolsGold here DAC, wales, never, saffers only in the high veld do they have a chance, england...forget about it.....the frogs...always a danger there and again with FG , they are our main rivals for the WC this year...they could be the ones to deneny us once again....but we are gunning for revenge from when they kicked us out at the semi's!...

Firstly Welcome Back FG it's been a while. I agree with the French being the only challenge for the AB's;)

Re: All Blacks European Tour Robinson believes England can beat All Blacks 01/11/2006 NZPA

21FE2DAE-BCEB-E23F-7CCD8EF4FFCB0EEC.jpg Andy Robinson - Photosport England will take to Twickenham with an utter self-belief they can beat the All Blacks in Monday morning's Test, says coach Andy Robinson. Under heavy fire for his poor run of results -- England have lost their last five Tests -- Robinson said there was no way his team feared an All Blacks side who have swept aside nearly all of their challenges in the past two years to be ranked first in the world. Robinson was confident his players wouldn't suffer from the mental obstacles that he had seen sink many of the All Blacks' opponents in recent times. "I've seen teams play New Zealand over the last few years and they've gone on the field but just with their body language, they've lost. They haven't had the belief to take them on," Robinson said. "We go on this pitch with that ability to challenge New Zealand and a belief we're going to win this game. "We pick competitive animals that actually get turned on by winning." Robinson's already sizeable injury list expanded today when speedy winger Mark Cueto was ruled out with an injury sustained last week. His replacement is uncapped Wasps 27-year-old Paul Sackey, who has represented England A for three years. He is the third uncapped player in the backline, joining second five-eighth Anthony Allen and halfback Shaun Perry, ruled out of the test. Another rookie was named on the reserve bench in the form of 34-year-old prop Stuart Turner. Also on the bench is fullback Mark Van Gisbergen, the formerly Waikato-based New Zealander who made his England debut earlier this year. Van Gisbergen was called in from outside the English squad today because of the shocking injury toll. Despite the untried appearance of his backline, Robinson believed they could create problems for New Zealand. He travelled to South Africa to watch how the All Blacks defended against the Springboks in the final Philips Tri Nations Tests two months ago and returned home with a glint in his eye. "There are certainly areas that we believe we can attack," he said. "We've got to go on the pitch and go for it, there's no holding back here, there's no waiting for the 30th minute and let's try something. "Everybody's bought into that. It's ok saying it, but the challenge is there and we're right up for this challenge." The All Blacks had the day off on yet another sunny day today to see the sights of London. The team to face England will be announced early tomorrow (NZT). Revised England team: Iain Balshaw, Paul Sackey, Jamie Noon, Anthony Allen, Ben Cohen, Charlie Hodgson, Shaun Perry, Pat Sanderson, Lewis Moody, Martin Corry (captain), Ben Kay, Danny Grewcock, Julian White, George Chuter, Andy Sheridan. Reserves: Lee Mears, Stuart Turner, Chris Jones, Magnus Lund, Peter Richards, Andy Goode, Mark Van Gisbergen.

Re: All Blacks European Tour NZ -13 with Bet365 With out being to unfriendly to our English posters (don’t want to be accused of being chippy now do I?) There is a feasible chance of England being blasted off the pitch. The English pack is defiantely ok, if a little immobile in my opinion and you just know the old heads will be up for this, Charlie needs to play out of his skin in all departments but the major worry for England is the Kiwis blasting through the backs, we are all aware of Balshaws defensive capabilities, cough, cough, splutter but we are all aware of the Kiwis ability to score in the last quarter. I can see NZ being 5-10 points up at half time and then going onto a comfy win of around 17-25 points. Anyone?

Re: All Blacks European Tour

Bet365 Changed their price on NZ to 4/5. Having now seen the Kiwi team - what kind of statement is Henry trying to make with it?
Looks like he knows this game is in the bag i think, he trying to save his best players and plays for the French who are going to be the team to beat on this tour. He's got great backup on the bench just incase things go pear shaped against England, (can't see that happening though) but thats just my thoughts!;)

Re: All Blacks European Tour This cap is certainly no gimme. England have only lost by more than 13 points TWICE since 1995 at Twickenham and their heaviest defeat in the last two years has been by 6 points. The Twickenham factor is definately something to take into account Whilst England have perceived defensive frailties in their back line the pack look very strong indeed, infact 5 of them faced NZ last year in that 4 point defeat. Probably going to leave the cap alone and have a blast at some fun winning margins of around 20-30. If NZ get a good start they could blast England off the park, if they don't it's feasible that Robinsons' men could grind out another low point defeat
