Re: Previous Results Form Ratings Used For Laying (amongst other things) well, i'm again forced to enter stats manually as football anorak still have their tables not updated, so its just the english leagues here this week, and they are depleted by the FA Cup action on top of this, for some reason the excel spreadsheet with the stats i normally start off with wont copy and paste across :wall i'll put down the details as i go throught the bets

Re: Previous Results Form Ratings Used For Laying (amongst other things) the accys for the accys i will follow this criteria 0-3 teams rated 20 and above = no accys 4-6 teams rated 20 and above = doubles 7+ teams rated 20 and above = trebles just 2 teams make the desired rating of 20+ this week everton v west ham - 24 cardiff v colchester - 32.9 so no accys this week. although i'm keeping this system for the league, i've looked at the cup games with games featuring games where league one and two sides meet a team from their own divsion and they throw up these scores bradford v millwall 20.4 (although this is a friday night match which also discludes it from the system) bristol city v gillingham 27.6 i'll look for these results out of interest but nothing more at this stage

Re: Previous Results Form Ratings Used For Laying (amongst other things) no time this weekend to sort out stats etc possibly moving next week, so when i return, I'll be starting a for real money thread and hopefully will have the templates set up so that i can add more leagues to this thread as a papertrial 95% strike rate on the lays (albeit on a small trial) gives me enough confidence to play around with this with hard earned cash :D:hope

  • 2 weeks later...

Re: Previous Results Form Ratings Used For Laying (amongst other things) template up and running and have started the laborious task of manually entering the data to back test. english premier league table completed - these are the picks for this weekends games. each game will be a bet on the home side and a lay on the away side (all odds from oddschecker at time of writing) fulham v west ham (home win - 2.54 @ betfair/lay away - 3.03 @ mansion) liverpool v watford (home win - 1.25 @ stan james/lay away - 19.00 @ betdaq) middlesbro v charlton (home win - 1.83 @ betdaq/lay away - 5.00 @ betdaq) also u/o bets - to win fulham v west ham - under 2.5 goals (1.66 @ betdaq) man city v bolton - under 2.5 goals (1.64 @ betdaq) hopefully moving house this week - once thats sorted I'll be putting real money on these bets and creating a money thread. in the mean time, i'll be backtesting other leagues starting with the rest of the english divisions.
