Datapunter Posted October 2, 2006 Share Posted October 2, 2006 It was felt by most mods that the current Systems and Strategies Forum did not do justice to many of the threads posted. So there is now a second forum called Glory Hunters. The two Forums are quite distinct. For the current Systems and Strategies Forum the guidelines have been turned into RULES. Basically the only change is that the top post of any system thread must contain a description of the system. A rule that's intended to encourage people to post information about a system rather than just picks. At the same time in the Glory Hunters Forum the rules have been kept to an absolute minimum. You give as much, or as little, information as you want. Room for everyone. For both Forums there is a clear rule in place that the forums are not intended for commercial Tipsters/Websites/Services. We'll give people some time to adjust and edit the top post of their threads if need be. At some point we'll start moving threads from S&S into Glory Hunters. Maybe someday we'll bring it back when updates can be made automatically. But there's another idea which we could revive; a systems index. " Best of the Best " , Hall of Fame " , " All Time Top Systems " whatever the name, an index to the best threads in S&S, GH and the archives. Entries have to made only once, hardly any maintenance, we can use categories, short descriptions, couple of indexlists. Entries made by nomination perhaps.
