libi71
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Portugal - Cap Verde Islands 1.04 is obviously as low as it gets, I am still thinking that this would be the equivalent of save money. I mean, Portugal would have to beat them even if 3 guys get sent off in the first 10 minutes or anything like that. Could only find 1.01 (which is really not worth the hassle I think), for 1.04 it might be worth to get some interest on your money.
Giovanni
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Turkey-Ghana: I prefer to take the total goals scored, different levels offered, I decided to take, high stake, OVER 2.25 total match goals, Ladbrokes gives it at 2.00 (decent odd IMO): The match will be played in neutral field (Bochum, Deutschland). Turkey came out from the good perfomance offered in Belgium land (final draw by 3-3): like Fatih Terim announced from a long time these friendly matches should be used to take vision for new comers in national team and he is prooving too many different modul to find the right modul system for the next future. Ghana should play with full squad: amazing and solid middle zone announced to start the game (Essien, Addo, Appiah and Muntari), but the real problem of these kind of games should be the motivations. Ghana is standing in full fit program for Germany World Cup and they are searching to have confirm about the general state and to find confidence to approach at the best possible W.C. competition. Turkey should have less matter than Ghana on the paper, but bookies give them as favourites, IMO due to many new comers to show their value and also for the big affluence of supporters waitedtonight in Bochum. I wait for a match similar to the last played from Turkey in Belgium: the score line at 2.25 should offer good guarantees to have a good bet. Total goals scored OVER 2.25. Hondje
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Hi guys, Only very short time - so my appologies for that, however: South Korea vs. Serbia/Montenegro: under 2.5 goals South Corea has gone under goals in 9 of last 11 matches and Serbias defence is rock-solid, only having conceded one single goal in 10 qualifiers for the WC... 1.80 with betandwin is definately value i.m.o. Nice shot! :) Although our team didn't play South Korea today! ;) They're preparing for tomorrow's clash against Uruguay at Maracana, in Belgrade! :ok As for tomorrow's clash, there's surely some value in Serbia & Montenegro(2.00 at Betfair). Some reasons: 1) our first and last friendly ahead of the Wolrd Cup in Germany; the motivation is really huge and all the players are in great mood 2) the match is likely to be sold out; there should be an amazing atmosphere at Maracana 3) Uruguay are missing some of their biggest stars: Forlan(Villarreal), Recoba(Inter Milan), Zalayeta(Juventus), Chevanton(Monaco),...They'll probably be struggling to break our defense without these guys. But, even with all of them in the starting lineup, Uruguay doesn't look so powerful nowadays 4) Serbia & Montenegro coach Petkovic is able to field his strongest possible side: Jevric - Gavrancic, Vidic, Krstajic, Dragutinovic - Koroman, Duljaj, P.Djordjevic, Stankovic - Kezman, Zigic Uruguay will surely fancy their chances, but they'll have a very tough moments tomorrow night, for sure.... Jaded
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Trinidad vs Wales Tip here is 1st goalscorer bet on Dennis Lawrence, Wrexham's giant Trinidadian centre-back. Gets up for set-pieces a lot, can finish well, and is a national hero after scoring the goal that put Trini into the World Cup. Got 28/1 on it at a Laddies shop today, also available on their website - not sure if anywhere else has it better odds.

zerocool
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) I have a good feeling about today and consider the games to be more about defence than offense. So here are my predictions for today. 1) Denmark - Paraguay UNDER 2) S&M - Uruguay UNDER 3) Holland - Cameroon 1 (have a point to proove) 4) France - Mexico UNDER (still not convinced with FR) 5) Spain - Russia UNDER (La Liga just finished) ANy thoughts on the above predictions? Will bet $10 with a 14.53 to 1 and see what happens :) Alex
libi71
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) I am looking in to the France - Mexico one myself, which should be very interesting (and which I will not able to watch live - grrr). For France, it is quite an important match. They have already some problems in the team after only few days and they have lost a friendly at home this year at home, with which the public was not to happy. The stadium will be full as it is Zidane's last match at home. Mexico on the other side are certainly eager to show something. This is certainly there most important preparation match and they will want to know where they stand. They proved a good team, but how do they compare to European teams, which they do only play so often (they proved to be well capable of beating the south american top teams though). So, motivation should be there on both sides and this should make up a real test. Therefore I was looking into the bookings market (spreadbetting) and am considering to buy for 21 (10 pts per yellow, 25 pts per red). Reasoning: I don't expect a red card here as it is a friendly, but only 3 yellows are enough for a profit, with the downside risk being marginal. In such a match, where both teams play to win, a couple of bookings come natural. Viera and Makelele are certainly always good for a booking and Thuram might have some trouble with the smaller and quicker offensive players from Mexico. On the other hand, Mexico has to stop Henry and probably Cisse, another possibility for some booking. Have not found out about the referee as of yet, though. kojic2003
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Just saw in today's newspapers... :unsure Uruguay arrived in Belgrade without Forlan(Villarreal), Recoba(Inter Milan), Zalayeta(Juventus), Oliveira(Juventus), goalkeeper Viera(Villarreal), Dario Rodriguez(Schalke 04), Gustavo Varela(Schalke 04), Lugano(Sao Paulo), Canobio(Celta Vigo), Regueiro(Valencia), Diogo(Real Madrid), Pablo Garcia(Real Madrid), G.Rodriguez(Lens), Chevanton(Monaco), Pandiani(Espanyol),... Just a few known names will take a part in tonight's match, like Giacomazzi(Lecce), Estoyanoff(Cadiz), Vargas(Gimnasia),... Serbia & Montenegro at full strength, in great mood, highly motivated and will be supported by full Maracana. Probable lineups: Serbia & Montenegro: Dragoslav Jevric - Goran Gavrancic, Nemanja Vidic, Mladen Krstajic, Ivica Dragutnovic - Ognjen Koroman, Igor Duljaj, Predrag Djordjevic, Dejan Stankovic - Mateja Kezman, Nikola Zigic Uruguay: Fabián Carini - Andrés Scotti, Carlos Valdez, Diego GodÃn, Walter López - Maximiliano Pereira, Omar Pouso, Guillermo Giacomazzi - Fabián Estoyanoff, Sebastián Abreu, Gonzalo Vargas Serbia & Montenegro -1/2(2.00 at Pinnacle), with the high stake now... kojic2003
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Serbia & Montenegro: Dragoslav Jevric - Goran Gavrancic' date= Nemanja Vidic, Mladen Krstajic, Ivica Dragutnovic - Ognjen Koroman, Igor Duljaj, Predrag Djordjevic, Dejan Stankovic - Mateja Kezman, Nikola Zigic The 202cm-tall-forward Zigic is likely to be watched by a number of managers, so his motivation should be huge tonight, plus he plays at his "own stadium" where he's a real God in the last couple of years. As I heard, Harry Redknapp will also arrive in Belgrade as Pompey are keen to make a deal with Red Star(money+Koroman(on loan) for Zigic). So, Zigic to score anytime could be a good deal if anyone offers this bet...Considering his awesome ball control, there are no too many defenders capable to cope with him.The way he destroyed Roma's defense(Panucci, Kuffour, Mexes, Cufre,...) was amazing( http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1285842201168379089 Zigic is No25), so it's hard to imagine Uruguay's back four keeping him away from goal, especially under these circumstances, when most of their top players are out... Caveman
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Playing the full strength Croatian team in Croatia is not an easy task for any team. We will be lucky if we get a draw from this game but a more realistic result will be 2-1 or 3-1 for Croatia, unless Branko has miraculously cured all our defensive frailties in a matter of the past 3 weeks. I actually don't care much about the result, I would just like to see a very strong showing from our team and some of the new faces tried. Branco told in an interview he is going to rest Hashemain, Zandi & Karimi, means 2 of best players we have are not avaiable: http://www.khabars.net/detail.aspx?cid=70700 ( in Farsi :loon) full stake on croatia for me, avaiable @ 1,55 Bet-at-home or certbet GL @all
Jaded
Re: International Friendlies (25-30 May) Looking more at the Trini game, just seen the Wales probable side. Jason Brown (Gillingham), James Collins (West Ham), Danny Gabbidon (West Ham), David Partridge (Bristol City), Carl Fletcher (West Ham), Carl Robinson (Norwich), Joe Ledley (Cardiff), Simon Davies (Everton), David Vaughan (Crewe), Robert Earnshaw (Norwich), David Cotterill (Bristol City). Trini look like a strong side with Dwight Yorke, playmaker Russell Latapy, Lawrence, and ex-Wrexham winger Carlos Edwards among the stars likely to be playing. Despite being a reasonably patriotic Welshman, can't see any way T & T should be far above evens for this - 2.62 looks great value.
