wizard
Im sure Im not the only one that occasionally misses/forgets about tourneys. In fact I know Im not because I remember reading a previous post about the topic and since people have posted up reminders for tourneys, however my idea is a text messaging service where people can subscribe and recieve reminders and info about upcoming tournaments. My question is, does this seem like a good idea/something you would be interested in? Has this idea already been used? Look forward to hearing your thoughts.. Ovalman
Re: Text Reminders For Tourneys Its a decent idea though Paul and one that the site should consider. Not everybody reads the forum every day and maybe a daily service with the best bits could be a money spinner?
morlspin
Re: Text Reminders For Tourneys how many people are willing to pay for a service which is free anyway? gaf does the diary 3 days in advance, just note down the ones u want to play in
Ovalman
Re: Text Reminders For Tourneys I would go for a small charge above the normal network price for the service. I have a head like a seive at times. I think its a decent idea, one that should be considered. It could encompass the whole site, not just the poker forum. jeffster
Re: Text Reminders For Tourneys I always use the calendar / alarm feature on my Nokia 6630... However, I realise not all mobiles have a calendar or alarm feature... Guess you need to get into the habit of checking the forum's calendar at least once a day... Gizdalord
Re: Text Reminders For Tourneys I think the best would be an email send at once to those who for eg reg here for this service. I found it really great. I am a noob and have only account on odds and this could change it and see the things overall. An email that someone has to write about the tourneys put the "reged" ppls to the send list and click. It is a great idea i believe
