manckevin
Well, these did so-so last year, so why not try again. They won't be on every night, but I'll try my best. Hopefully we may get some decent enough returns in time to come..... Saturday to follow shortly.....

I'll be putting mine up here, but of course, this is an open forum, and anyone can post what they like, when they like! As is already mentioned, some of these did well last year. This is a new formula I'm trialling, so it could be interesting to see what comes up!

El_Stuart
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version How much do you stake on these placepots mate? Nice winner at Fakenham today, I was jipped on 2 legs at Plumpy and just the 3rd leg let me down at Warwick :(
manckevin
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version Purely for fun at the moment mate, so take them with the caution they deserve. manckevin
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version Basically, all the money goes into a pot (pool), the Tote take their cut and the rest is divided by the number of winning tickets, or something like that! I'm sure someone can do a better explanation!!! WorkingForTheEnemy
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version Just something ive always wondered....How do they calculate how much you win on placepots? Depends on what sense you mean. If you mean how is the return determined then pretty much how Danny said. If you mean how do you know how much youve won if you get it up, the return is declared to £ so multiple that by your stake. Remeber if you do 10p lines and you get 2 winning lines its multiplied by 20p.

manckevin
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version Indeed I was bowles! CHEPSTOW - 3 legs correct. EXETER - 4 legs correct. NEWMARKET - 5 legs correct. Had 3, 6 or 10 been placed in Leg 5 then we would have been on for at least 2 lines at £176.80 (although the dividend may have been smaller). manckevin
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version FRIDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE AYR - 5 legs correct. Had we got a place in Leg 2, it would have meant at least 2 lines at £135.20. NEWBURY - 3 legs correct. THIRSK - 5 legs correct. Had we got a place in Leg 4, it would have meant at least 2 lines at £462.40. At the time of writing, Kempton is 1 leg from 1, whilst Sedgefield has just crashed out in Leg 5. Nothing tomorrow I'm afraid folks - a much more serious matter has arisen (Salford v St Helens)!!!
manckevin
Re: Fun Placepots - 2006 Version Slight change of tactics with the evening racing under way so I'm now looking at only two meetings per day where I feel the best chances lie. Again they will remain 36 lines. I may as well add now that due to other commitments, there probably won't be anything for Tuesday, and again on Wednesday.
