All Weather Surfaces?

Recommended Posts

I'm going to get back into the horses a bit more and before you say "wtf do you know about horse racing?" :lol I used to know a fair bit. ;) So....... I believe this has changed so just want to know what the latest is, but here's what I knew it as. Southwell & Wolves had the same surface, but Lingfield was a completely different type of all weather, so much so Southwell 15 length winners, usually just couldn't win at Lingfield and vice versa. So, has it changed and what's the difference now?;)

Re: All Weather Surfaces? Paul, Wolves changed from fibresand to Polytrack in 2004. Southwell is still the heavier fibresand. That`s all I can say bar that it`s still pretty much a minefield, but I love it. There`s nowt better than an afternoon of Banded racing at Wolvo :loon :unsure
