Systemight's Punters Of the Year..

Recommended Posts

First of all i wish to send my apologies for not voting on this, didn't see it till too late, did take a look at the results though.

Now i have been here on and off for about a year- 4 different jobs in that time has meant varying shifts- and i simply haven't been around as much as i would have liked. Hopefully that is all sorted now and i will vote next year...promise!

My views are not meant to offend anyone, so if i have missed you out, please don't be annoyed it was maybe that your valued contributions had not been seen by myself, in addition to the fact that seeing things the same way as others has always been a bit of a struggle for me.

For what it's worth, anyone who takes the time(or is brave enough) to put their opinions on the forum, is well worth an award anyway,-we are all winners!...lol, but had i have been voting  then these are the people who would have received mine..

Punter of the Year: Well if i am honest, i don't take too much notice of tips made by others so wouldn't know who is profitable and who isn't. For those that do then Richard seems the overwhelming choice and no doubt rightly so, but it's Bymatrix who would have gotten my vote. I read one of his posts once and thought to myself "this guy really knows what he is on about" Maybe he should post more/Maybe he has but i just haven't seen it- but anyways he is the one for me.

Best Newcomer: Can't say that i know a lot about the guy that won this award, but that's my fault not his. I can only go along with what i have seen, so while he hasn't been here for very long (i think) Weightwatcher seems to know his way around a formbook, and looks likely to be a regular contributor of the future, so edges it for me.

Mentor: I'm not sure who won this award, but McClarke surely couldn't have been far away. The work this guy puts in is simply unbelievable and apart from that is always on hand with opinions, results and insight on any subject relating to the turf/all weather. An easy winner of this award for me.

Most Valuable Member: A Regular contributor, whose love for the game shines through. Perhaps not the most prolific winning punter, but nevertheless this guy puts up his profit/loss figures every day, warts and all, and not just when he gets a winner.

While his current figures are not in the black, that could all very well change, as the way he bets, one good day would make all the difference. I suspect he is not overly bothered by that anyway, he just simply loves his racing and the ups and downs that it brings.

The fact he was slightly miffed by another poster a while back, yet continued to stay with the forum, brought about my continued respect. Ladies and Gentleman i give you my winner of the Most Valuable member award to... The Equaliser.

P.S, Oh and just in case anyone wondered, no i don't personally know any of my winners.... in fact and i don't anyone on here at all..
