StevieDay1983 Posted May 30, 2023 Share Posted May 30, 2023 It's been a long old season with the winter break for the 2022 World Cup but the 2022/23 Spanish La Liga season is finally drawing to a close this coming weekend. Barcelona have already secured the league title and they'll be joined in next season's Champions League by Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Real Sociedad. Villarreal and Real Betis will represent the league in the Europa League. However, the Europa Conference League qualification is still up for grabs with Osasuna currently occupying that place but they are under threat from the likes of Athletic Bilbao, Girona, Rayo Vallecano, and Sevilla. Although, due to the last day fixtures it looks unlikely it'll be those last two teams. At the other end of the table we've already said farewell to the duo of Elche and Espanyol. It's intense for that last relegation spot though with Valladolid currently sitting in that place but anyone out of Celta Vigo, Almeria, Valencia, Getafe, and Cadiz could replace them before the final whistle blows.
