jonjo Posted November 7, 2022 Share Posted November 7, 2022 8.00 Wolverhampton tonight, Lucky San Jore has looked a different horse since joining Marco Botti winning both races with a bit in hand and may well be up to defying a 5lb rise in the weights as well as a rise in Class. Won nicely over course and distance last time out staying on well in the closing stages, the 3rd has gone in next time giving the form a solid look to it. Rise in the weights and a rise in class is why you can get 4.2, will also have a go in the place market if anywhere near evens. Fransesci the obvious danger. The favourite is Attacaa from Nicky Henderson's yard. This looks to be the main reason for its price so I'll take the horse with its current form to beat it. It also beat Alien Storm in a bumper which shoulders a penalty so 2 pts looks to be a fair bet 1.25 Blackcauseway 1 pt win at 6.2. Chasing looks to be the right route for this one. Off 191 days. I don't like not having current form to work with. Bit of a drifter 3 points staked so far --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well Invictus didn't run its race, should have been a lot closer to Alien Storm that ran really well under a penalty. Blackcauseway ran and jumped really well for a long way but its run just fizzled out. Oddly enough I backed both winners in-running and made a small profit but that doesn't count for book purposes. There is a lot of PL Members interest in the 2.35 at Kempton. it almost feels as though we need @richard-westwood to sort out a couple for us.
