Milan vs Inter

Although they are still unbeaten this season, Milan would have been targeting a much better start to the campaign. They have claimed two wins and as many draws from their opening four matches, slightly off last season’s start where they began with three victories and a tie. The Rossoneri failed to find their spark in midweek as they were held to a 0-0 draw at Sassuolo. They could only manage two attempts on target and could have lost, with Mike Maignan saving a first-half penalty. Nevertheless, they will search for a way back to the winning track against the arch-rivals.

Inter’s start to the campaign has only been slightly better than Milan’s as they sit just one point above their rivals. They have claimed three wins this season but have already been outclassed 3-1 by Lazio. The Nerazzurri bounced back from the defeat at Lazio in style as they triumphed 3-1 over Cremonese on Tuesday. Efforts from Joaquin Correa, Nicolo Barrella, and Lautaro Martinez gave them a 3-0 lead before the visitors pulled one back. Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi currently has to contend with reduced team options. Gabriel Brazão (Cruciate Ligament Rupture), Dalbert (Cruciate Ligament Injury), and Romelu Lukaku (Muscular problems) won’t be making appearances.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Milan has been excellent on the home ground lately, celebrating five wins in a row. Nevertheless, they haven’t beaten Inter at home in the previous eight encounters. Therefore, we believe these two giants will split points on Saturday evening.

Goals Market Prediction

Both teams have significant attacking potential, and they will try to do some damage to each other. That’s why we think neither side will find the back of the rival’s net.

Correct score 1:1 @ 6.50

Lazio vs Napoli

Lazio heads into Saturday’s clash off the back of a 1-1 draw at Sampdoria in their midweek Serie A fixture. They failed to build on an early opener from Ciro Immobile and conceded a dramatic equalizer deep into injury time. The hosts have been knocking on the door of a top-four finish in recent years and will be looking to make another push this season. Although it has been a slightly bumpy start to the campaign, manager Maurizio Sarri will be pleased that they are still unbeaten after four matches. Regarding absentees, there’s just the sole fitness concern for the Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri to be concerned about from an almost fully healthy group. Elseid Hysaj (Chest injury) is out of contention.

Napoli is also coming off a draw as they were held 1-1 at home by newly promoted Lecce in their previous Serie A fixture. They struck first through Eljif Elmas but were pegged back by the visitors after just four minutes. One thing that will be pleasing to manager Luciano Spalletti is that his summer acquisitions appear to be settling down well, particularly on the attacking side. Napoli is the leading scorer in Serie A this season with ten goals so far. However, they need to stop spilling points when they are considered firm favorites like they did in the previous round. From a largely healthy group of players, there’s just the only fitness worry for the Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti to be concerned with. Diego Demme (Foot Injury) misses out for this game.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Both sides have been playing very well so far in the campaign, and they will search for another good display. This match can easily go either way, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it ends in a draw.

Goals Market Prediction

Their recent head-to-head clashes have been a joy to watch as four of the previous five went over a 2.5 margin. That trend should continue, and the crowd should enjoy at least three goals once again.

Udinese vs AS Roma

Considering AS Roma stronghold on their travels, and in this fixture historically, winning 7 of their previous 9 away matches at this stadium, AS Roma is expected to probably have enough quality to return home with the victory, but the under 2.5 goal pick looks a more secure choice considering both AS Roma under 2.5 goals away numbers and recent low-scoring encounters between both teams.

Monza vs Atalanta

It was a baptism of fire for Serie A newcomers Monza. They have lost all 4 of their opening 2022/23 Serie A games – at home to Torino and Udinese, as well as away to Napoli and most recently Roma, where they lost 3-0 on Saturday. Their defense has been porous as they have conceded 11 goals in these four matches while conceding just two themselves. They will need to figure things out quickly if they hope to stay up. Andrea Petagna strengthened Monza, and a lot is expected from him in the new season. Marco D'Alessandro (Tear in the abductor muscle), Pablo Marí (Abdominal muscles injury), and Andrea Ranocchia (Fibula Fracture) will be missing for Monza boss Giovanni Stroppa.

After the disappointment of the drop-off in performance last season, Atalanta has had a fairly decent start this time. The Bergamo-based outfit is yet to taste defeat so far, with a return of 3 wins and a draw in their opening four matches. The draw actually came at defending champions AC Milan which certainly underlines their potential to challenge for top honors this time. They will look to pile more pressure on their woeful hosts as they entrench themselves with the leaderboard. La Dea is full of confidence, and they want to pick up where they left off.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Monza is still struggling in the Italian top flight, and Atalanta should take advantage of their poor form. That’s why we believe the visitors will meet the expectations and pick up all three points in this match.

Goals Market Prediction

Considering the pre-season as well, Monza’s last ten games went over a 2.5 margin. The home side’s defense is pretty leaky, and we expect to see at least three goals in total on Monday evening.

Atalanta to Win @ 1.65

Over 2.5 FT @ 1.65

Correct score 0:3 @ 12.00
