Manchester City vs Liverpool

Manchester City enters this match following a goalless Champions League stalemate versus Atlético Madrid. Therefore, the Citizens are still in the game for all three trophies. Their latest results highlight the fact that huge efforts have been put in by the Manchester City defense. Manchester City has given the opposition little, resulting in the total number of goals that have gone in at their end during their previous six clashes standing at 3. They easily eliminated Southampton in the last round of the FA Cup with a 4:1 win. The Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will be grateful not to have any fitness worries to speak of coming into this game, thanks to a fully injury-free squad to pick from.

Liverpool drew 3:3 in the Champions League match with Benfica in their last fixture. Nevertheless, a 3:1 victory on the road saw them progress to the semi-finals on the continental stage. The Reds also stayed in the Premier League title race by snatching a point at Etihad Stadium in a 2:2 draw. Over the course of their last half-dozen clashes, Liverpool has helped themselves to a tally of 13 goals. Liverpool has also scored in every single one of those games. Over that period, they’ve had six goals go against them. They want glory in this competition as well, and the Reds will search for a win in London.

Full-Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Both teams have been in excellent form lately, while their latest head-to-head match ended in a draw. We could see a repetition of it at Wembley Stadium, and these two sides might go into extra time to decide a winner.

Goals Market Prediction

These two teams have extremely talented offenses, and although they are pretty solid in the back, we expect to see another efficient match. Therefore, neither side should keep a clean sheet in this encounter.

Manchester City vs Liverpool

Manchester City
Manchester City drew 2-2 with Liverpool in the Premier League's top-of-the-table clash last weekend. In this year's campaign, Swindon Town, Fulham, Peterborough United, and Southampton have all been no match for Guardiola's players. City has only won one FA Cup in Guardiola's tenure so far in 2018-19, but they come to Wembley Stadium on the back of a 10-match undefeated run in all competitions.

Liverpool
The Reds have knocked off Shrewsbury Town, Cardiff City, Norwich City, and Nottingham Forest to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 2014-15 - before Klopp took over - and have reached the final eight of the previous ten times they have reached the final four. The Reds' tie with Benfica was their seventh game without defeat in all competitions, with at least two goals in six of those matches.

Prediction
Importantly, these two teams have combined for the most goals in the English Premier League this season. This Saturday at Wembley, anticipate a high-scoring match between the two.

Manchester City vs Liverpool

The two best-performing sides in English football clash in a 3:30pm BST kick-off in the first FA Cup Semi-Final of the weekend on Saturday afternoon. It's Manchester City versus Liverpool who play each other just one week after the two clubs battled out an intensely exciting 2-2 draw in the league at the Etihad Stadium. Wembley Stadium is the neutral setting for the clash and with both teams securing their places in the Champions League Semi-Finals in midweek you feel this game could have a huge impact on squad morale for both teams.

Manchester City will know that holding Liverpool to a draw last weekend could well be enough to swing the title their way come the end of the season. Pep Guardiola's side have the "easier" run-in and even though mission isn't complete yet you do feel that it'll be a tough job for Liverpool to overturn the deficit now. The Citizens endured a physically and emotionally gruelling Champions League Quarter-Final second leg tie with Atletico Madrid in midweek. Guardiola has stated that result has come at a cost and he could be without a number of first team players for this game including Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker.

Liverpool come into this game with an unprecedented quadruple still on. The league title might seem further away now for the Reds but Jurgen Klopp is fully aware of the potential psychological impact a victory here could have on his opponents. Liverpool will be buzzing after sealing their place in the Champions League Semi-Finals after a 6-4 aggregate win over Portuguese Primeira Liga side Benfica during the week. That game once again showed Liverpool's attacking capabilities. You do get the sense that due to Liverpool winning just 1 of their last 9 meetings with City that maybe they're due one here. If they have all their best players fit then who knows?

If there is one thing the league encounter showed us last weekend it's that neither team is scared of going for the jugular in this fixture. Both teams went all out last week and I expect a similar approach here. Both teams have scored in 7 of the last 8 competitive meetings. You have to question how sharp both teams will be but I think the midweek games will have taken more out of City. I think this is one game where Liverpool could finally get one over on their title rivals.

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

The second FA Cup Semi-Final of the weekend is scheduled to take place at 4:30pm BST on Sunday afternoon from Wembley Stadium. If the first Semi-Final is anything to go by then we should be in for a classic here as well but this is a less evenly-balanced tie so who knows? Two London clubs that haven't had far to travel to get to this game but who will be facing Liverpool in the Final next month?

Chelsea are just 180 minutes away from adding yet another trophy to their cabinet under head coach Thomas Tuchel. The Champions League defence may have died a dramatic death in midweek but the Blues will be keen to bounce back here and book a place in the domestic showpiece event. Just 1 loss in 13 matches (over 90 minutes) of domestic action for Chelsea now and have won 8 of their last 10 matches in all competitions so they head into this game in solid form. One thing Chelsea do well is hit back after a loss. They did that with their last two defeats to Brentford and Real Madrid so there is expectation it will happen again here. Chelsea have been involved in 4 of the last 5 FA Cup Finals so it's almost like a tradition for them now.

Crystal Palace will be delighted to be involved in an FA Cup Semi-Final but head coach Patrick Vieira will be all too familiar with how difficult it is to go the next step. The Frenchman is a 5-time winner of the FA Cup himself from his playing days with Arsenal and Manchester City. He will be gutted to be without his influential on-loan attacking midfielder Conor Gallagher due to him being ineligible to face his parent club. It's just 1 loss from the last 8 matches for Palace. The Eagles have scored in 7 of their last 8 games so they do boast a clear attacking threat. Unfortunately, Palace have lost each of their last 9 meetings with Chelsea across all competitions so there is a bit of a hoodoo there.

If both teams were at full strength then I would back Crystal Palace to give Chelsea a close game but I feel Gallagher missing is a big blow for the Selhurst Park side. As with any team led by Vieira you expect them to put up a fight and he's enjoyed enough success at Wembley down the years to offer a wise and composed head. I just feel this game is Chelsea's to lose and they'll be a wounded animal out for vengeance after the Champions League exit in midweek.
