They have won just once this season so far, and the sole victory had come against the 19th placed Alaves. Espanyol will be wanting a better result here after a 2-0 La Liga defeat in their last game at the hands of Sevilla.

Real Madrid 

Real Madrid are still unbeaten in the league, and they are at the top of the table with a lead of one point. Real Madrid will be looking to bounce back from their surprise 2-1 home loss to Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League. Before that on the match-day, they were held to a goalless draw at home by Villarreal. Picking up 17 points from seven matches, Real Madrid have scored the most number of goals of all the teams in the tournament.

Espanyol have lost 13 of their last 14 La Liga matches against Real Madrid. Real Madrid are pitted against a newly-promoted Espanyol, who have been abysmal so far this new season in the top flight. By the looks of things, expect a crushing win for Real Madrid this Sunday.
