13.50 Kempton  - 4 Mini Milk    5/1 William Hill
In what appears to be a open contest you could make a case for a few including Takeonefortheteam who is a 4 time C&D wineer including 5 days ago but does have a penalty to carry for the recent success and could be vunerable, Beau Geste has 2 wins from 6 this year finishing 4th last time out could be there or thereabouts, however selection is Mini Milk who is a C&D winner  and 1 win from 3 races this year  2nd over C&D 13 days ago and 1st time tongue strap is applied

15.20 Hereford   - 6. Wisecracker     8/1 William Hill
Last years winner appears again in this time round but is up 8lbs from that effort, sole win to date however retains Bryony in the saddle from 12 months ago, Wisecracker has had wind surgery following last run at Warwick which was encouraging

17.05 Kempton  - 1 Sky Defender  5/2 William Hill
Sky Defender has 3 wins this year including 1 at Kempton finished 2nd at Hoppengarten (Germany) in a group 3 last month and looks the best on paper in this 6 horse race, also to note is Victory Chime C&D winner and has 8 wins from 20 starts won last time on heavy ground at Pontefract in a 7 runner contest but is up 6lbs for that effort

Just wondering why you haven't mentioned Shearer in the 4.25 at Hereford here as it is your nap of the day?

All prices Bet365:

1.10 Hereford - 2pts win Sign of War @ 9/2

Looks the one to be on here to me given he stays strongly, handles soft ground and wouldn't be the hardest ride for an amateur in this event. Shaped as if in need of the run over an insufficient 2m4f last time but will strip fitter today and take the beating back up in trip.

1.40 Hereford - 1pt e/w Just The Man @ 12/1

Market not speaking in favour just yet but a really interesting recruit to hurdling as he's been running decent races in quite hot middle distance races on the flat and shapes as if he'll make a jumper. Two miles should be within range both on that evidence and pedigree and both of his parents handled soft going so an interesting runner at an each way price.

2.30 Plumpton - 1pt e/w Brother Bennett @ 12/1

Horrible race but Brother Bennett has a fair bit of form around here and conditions won't faze him. Is an in and out type, which is not uncommon at this level, but on a going day could easily win this and should strip fitter for his recent outing. In a race where there are question marks about most, 12/1 represents a fair bit of a value to me.

2.45 Hereford - 1pt e/w Holly James @ 10/1

Did little wrong over hurdles last year, ending the year in form and also is proven in soft ground and over this trip. Is a half sister to some decent chasers and her full brother ran well in a point so there's plenty of encouragement for a chasing career and this sphere might just see her unlock some further potential if she's fit enough on seasonal reappearance.

2.55 Kempton - 1pt e/w Fantail @ 9/1

Headstrong sort but she shaped quite well last time out when I wanted to see her sent forward but she was restrained and stayed on without threatening late on. She's definitely got the ability to land this back on the all-weather where she's run well on both tries and if she's going to be restrained again then the step back up to a mile will suit.

3.05 Plumpton - 2pts win Harefield @ 7/2

Looks the class act in the field off top weight and has only been backing out of races late on the last couple of runs. As such, the drop back to the minimum trip looks perfect, he's off a fair mark and taking on weaker opposition here so should be bang there at the finish.

One Trixie today (some prices smashed largely because of non runners

1.50 Km Mini Milk (£2 win at 4/1)
3.30 Km Delicate Kiss £2.70 win at 11/4 = £10.20)
4.50 Wolv Highest Ambition (BC) 15/8 (yukk)

£1 win Trixie at £1 = £4 v poss return of £84.02

multiples = £4

Singles = £4.70

Total stakes £8.70

=======================================================================================================

Two beaten by short margins in my multiples so a loss of £4 incurred.  The balance C/fwd is now £614.69 (Bank £800)

Both singles lost so £4.70 sent to money heaven.  The balance c.fwd is now £138.48 (Bank £400)

One over the jumps, two all weather and one on the flat in the UK tomorrow

Luckily UK racing will be spared the second lockdown ?

One to avoid tomorrow, I will be very surprised if Batraan 8/13 wins the 5:20 Wolves even if it does that is a shockingly short price i am forecasting it will fade might not even get 3rd. Good value forecast possibilities without that gg

Called that one dead (4/9) right although it did manage 3rd
