BillyHills
German GP (2.10 Sunday) It's Sebastian Vettel's home GP this week and although i'd like to be more confident for him I just cant see his fortunes changing this week. He looks a shadow of his former self and dont forget he crashed here last year when leading on lap 51, just another error under pressure. Lewis Hamilton got lucky with the Safety Car and came home in front after starting 14th on the grid. That proves you can come from behind here but the stats will tell you that 50% or races here have been won off pole and 26 out of the 36 GP's at Hockenheim from the front row. The German GP used to be switched between Hockenheim and Nurburgring but has now settled here and Mercedes have dominated recently. Hamilton is 4/6 with Hills and Bottas second favourite at 7/2 with Betfair. There is not much to choose between Vettel. Leclerc and Verstappen for the podium spot. BillyHills
Reliability is pretty good here so expect no more than 3 retirements (unless we have a pile up). The bookies have got this about right and would take a punt at over 17 at Even money, that looks the value bet. Podium betting is tight for the third spot Leclerc 8/11 Verstappen 5/6 Vettel 11/
MyBigBottas
Thanks for posting the stats. The site I use for head-to-head got their match ups the other day. I'll post my picks later today or tomorrow morning for those interested. But let me know what you think: BillyHills
BillyHills
German GP Well another pole for Lewis Hamilton and with the disaster Ferrari had it looks plain sailing for Hammy. Lewis is 8/13 with Betfair and that looks decent enough as far as odds on fav's go, Max Verstappen will be popular at 3/1 with bet365. After the front row Bottas is 4/6 to get on the Podium and that looks pretty solid as the only danger is the two out of place Ferrari's. Vettel starts 20th but can reach top 6 on this track, he's 4/6 with Hills. Kevin Magnussen starts 12th and should get into the points without much fuss at 8/13 Betfair Haas double points finish looks value at 5/4 with bet365 (Magnussen/Grosjean) Safety Car - 2/5 -Yes : 9/4 - No Number of Classified Drivers - Over 17.5 at 5/4 Hills
