Busy day..

2.40 Plumpton

GOOD MAN PAT - 5/4 Bet365

A tricky three horse race, but i thought GOOD MAN PAT was not fully put to the sword when 3rd to the prolific winning French raider Master Dino here last time, and he will do for me. An unfancied 16/1 shot that day in the six horse field,Alan Kings gelding was noted staying on well from the last under tender handling. Given that was the six year olds first introduction to fences and his first run for 268 days, there is surely much more to come

3.10 Plumpton

DUC DE BEAUCHENE - 3/1 Bet365

There can be no doubting that DUC DE BEAUCHENE has disappointed on his last two appearances, but had previously showed promise and is given another chance. David Pipe's gelding is possibly best caught fresh,so now may be the time to catch him given he is on a decent handicap mark and hasn't run for 71 days

3.40 Plumpton

SHINTORI - 6/4 Bet365

This looks to concern the top two in the market and my preference is for SHINTORI. Already a proven winner around here, the selection performed with credit when 4th at Chepstow last month, following on from his win at Plumpton in December.Today's shorter trip looks tailor made

4.10 Plumpton

CASSIVELLANUS - 3/1 Ladbrokes

Gary Moore's CASSIVELLAUNUS is nothing if not consistent and this looks his best winning opportunity for some time. The seven year old appears to have his optimum conditions today, has won here before and comes into the race in decent form. The first time visor looks a show of intent.

4.40 Plumpton

RIVIERE ARGENTEE - 9/4 Paddy Power

This doesn't look a great race and its likely that RIVIERE ARGENTEE can improve past these. Milton Harris's grey filly had shown some ability on the flat, and looks to be progressing given his 2nd at Kempton last month, catching the eye in coming from off the pace.
