Awful racing on Monday but we have to try and pick something!
My vote goes with Spiritofchartwell who certainly seems to have improved since joining Philip York, He won here at Fontwell in September and then was second to Stoical Patient next time out, he was beaten 6 lengths on that occasion but is now a bit better off with that rival now and I think he was out manoeuvred too. I expect things to be a big tighter here and represents a bit of value at the prices.

Poor choice of racing but trying to get a stake boost for Saturday's big race so even though I hate south well this one race has strong ratings so I'll try

Almost a tie for top with these two well clear of the rest ....both have course form which helps ....prices short on top rated but with nothing out at mo worth a shot at a double up later in week
